Don’t make life decisions wen you’re in a lonely place

This is so bizarre, but it is definitely God's timing. Last night I just confessed to God I was lonely and I felt myself wanting to slip into old habits. Then I had the best night of sleep all week. I wake up and in my notifications is this sermon. Wow! He is always listening!

Before you listen to this; I wanted to tell you, that you are beautiful and exceptional. Also your a phenomenal human being; I love you and I hope positive experiences will start happening in your life, if they haven't already. “I would rather be fruitful for 30 years than for 30 minutes.” AMEN👏🏻👏🏻 Edit: I have felt lonely for so long and have allowed my mental health to consumed me since 2011. I hid my emotions and refused to take care of myself, which now lead to consequences of it, and leave scars all over my body. I am 21, who has experienced a loss of my mother and many others who has been in my life that mean to me, and thoughts about suicide constantly for several years. I felt lonelier every day and got myself addicted into sins that I would never thought I got myself into. After reading my Bible and dealt an issue with my ex that left me heartbroken and betrayed, I’m so glad that God is in my life. God has reminded that that’s I’m safe and that nothing can never separate His love from me. I surrendered myself everyday to Him and I’m reminded that I’m lonely. Thank you Jesus for dying for me and my sins because of your unconditional love.

I've been in a season of loneliness for almost 5 years. At that time, I walked away from relationships and a lifestyle I knew God was calling me away from. Since then, I've chosen to walk away from numerous potential friendships and relationships that I knew were not godly. I really believe the statement "Show me your friends, and I'll show you your future" is true. At the beginning of this year, I felt like God was finally taking me out of this season as I started to meet some great people... but then social distancing happened 😅. Sometime I feel like it's my fault, but every time I ask God about it He reminds me that "Loneliness is a required course for leadership". This message was a confirmation. Friend, trust God with your life. He truly knows best, and He is the best friend/husband/father you could ever have. Alone but never lonely. Thank you Pastor Steven!

I’ve struggle my whole life trying to fulfill the absence of my father in all the wrong places and guys , I’ve felt so lonely my whole life. But about a year ago, i sought out the lord and i gave him everything , he has fulfilled me entirely , thank you for this message this came at the right time . Honestly God brought me pastor Steven furtick when I really felt ALONE and REJECTED 🙅‍♂️ 🙅 I had let some sin in my life and brought it to my church and repented but I still felt condemned and judged by them. 😵 I would go to church regardless because I felt called, even though I didn’t want to. This went on for almost a YEAR! Now my pastor is actually stepping down due to mental health issues. All I wanted to do was be FORGIVEN and move on. God helped me to know threw this ministry that his opinion was the only one that truly mattered and that GOD DID FORGIVE ECEN WHEN HUMANS DIDNT. He said that I was free and he would serve JUSTICE and ACCOUNTABILITY with those who were not showing his love truly. I PRAYED FOR THEIR HEARTS TO CHANGE AND STILL DO. Every time I needed to hear from God and it didn’t matter what it was, there was always a sermon waiting here for me. You have encouraged me to not give up to infect to persevere and move forward. You know the feeling of being empty? That's what I feel and think when I'm with my friends. They're social media freak, so I decided to go and be like them. But everytime they laughed about something, everytime I laughed with them I feel so empty. And oneday I began to asking myself, are you really happy about this? Is this you? Being abused, being beaten until it left scars on my skin and then rejected for almost all my life ... made me think that something was wrong with me ... I had been alone all my life, but I had never invited Jesus Christ to be with me in This loneliness ... I have had extremely painful moments that I am used to ... but now in the midst of this loneliness I have begun to experience the love that I had never known. Jesus Christ told me that there was never anything wrong with me ... it just wasn't the environment that He had prepared for me, for which He continues to prepare me right now ... and you know what? This describes me so perfectly for the last couple of years.

In my church’s Celebrate Recovery, when we get up in front of others & identify ourselves....we start with our identity in who we are in Christ, then our struggles, then what we’ve survived & worked through (with God’s help), then what we’re still praying for God to help us with. There is no judgement because we recognize that we’re ALL broken and need God’s help.✝️ So many lives have been changed through this program because Christ is the focus. I’m a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, survived an abusive marriage & survived a near death experience. 😇 God gave me a second chance in life, and with His help, and the Step Studies in Celebrate Recovery, I am a new person. All my relationships have been restored & I have hope for a better future. Our God is a god of Restoration, Transformation, and Miracles!!

My spot inside my soul is struggling with my alcoholism along with my depression. I’m tired of drinking & feeling lonely with my dark thoughts. I pray to God while I’m listening to this sermon to help me find his light towards the right track I use to be on. I’m determined to keep fighting for my God.

I don’t even know if he reads his comments but I just have to say I wish your church was here where I live or a sister church. I’ve had such a rough life and just when I thought my life could not get any worse the worst year for me started last December lost my mother out of no where and just so many things have come down so hard behind that loss. But I have to say that watching and listening to these videos give hope that things will get better, that I can reconcile my life with God and fulfill what he has for me. God bless you and your family. If there were more pastors like this that keep it real and don’t sugar coat life the churches would be fuller than they are now. Be blessed always
