I honestly cried my eyes out half of the sermon on 1130 Sunday service. When he said "I feel like I am speaking to someone" I cried more. God uses Pastor to really be in tune with holy spirit!!!

Yes! That was POWERFUL! I AM IN TRANSITION AND IM FINALLY MORE AFRAID TO STAY PARALYZED, THEN TO LET ALL THE EXCUSES, RESENTMENTS, PAIN, ADDICTIONS, FEARS, ALL THAT NO LONGER SERVES ME,...GO. In early recovery from heroin, cocaine, valium, alcohol addictions... all while nursing a seriously broken heart from a failed relationship and God's really speaking to me thru this word. Iv had small lapses due to my own impatience, not knowing what I'm to do with my life now I'm not using drugs.. but it's clear, I just need to focus on staying physically healthy, keep my sobriety & God WILL bless in his own good time. I'm definitely in transition and sometimes wanna run nevermind walk, while in reality I'm still learning to stand up. Give me strength to recognise when I'm in a peeped of transition Lord & point me towards where you want me to be.. AMEN.🙏

Transition is hard. You are going to have to choose to kling to something that is new and uncomfortable. You can not take hold of the new while you have a death grip of the old. New situations with old habits will tear you apart. I needed to hear this. It gave me a new determination. God put me where I am and he knows this is hard. He is waiting for me to let go of the old heartache so he can fill my life with new.....everything.!

[41:40 --->] - When in transition, you must let go of the things that you used to do and cling onto the thing that will take you forward. - It is your choice (what you cling to) - Know that what you cling to is imperative. Amen. I am in the midst of a 23 + month health issue that has been confusing. And I feel God leading me - but not sure where. For any type of transition to occur it would be all glory to God because my physical strength is weak.

Favourite part of the message: The key to knowing the difference between God's plan and my plan is to go to Gethsemane... The place of transition. I pray God gives me the Grace to put aside my desire for comfort and the Grace to embrace HIS plans for me. Jeremiah 29v11 becomes clear in transition.

"Some people don't want to ENDURE the process...." It's crazy. Before listening to this sermon, earlier in the day God was speaking to me and was saying that I need to endure this season that I'm in. As the sermon started and Steven began to speak my mind started racing because I wanted to remember the one word God gave me this morning. Steven hit every nail on the head about what God was speaking to me JUST this morning. I'm learning that God is always speaking to us trying to answer our questions and concerns and if we can just take the time to spend time with him he unveil beautiful and healing things for our souls!

Two years ago Pastor Furtick changed my life with God's word and his sermon on Naming Rights. Call it something different. It was the start of a long transition for me. I have felt trapped and kept seeking God. Yesterday, I was at the church to see him in person, to hear this message. I stayed for both services. I received so much from this sermon. I am grateful that God has used this man to give me his word. Witty, funny, and real! I love what God has done and I am so grateful that even when the transition is painful, he's still there holding my hand like Peter held the hand of this man. The Elevation gift shop got me on the way out but it was worth it! Thank you Pastor

What you cling to will either separate you from God. Or lead you closer to the calling that He has placed on your life. In transition is where you make this decision. Recently released from prison having been cleansed from pornography with the new freedom there was the greatest temptation to cling to the old habits. And because God gave me a Peter and a John to cling to in the transition. The temptation was overcome by THE NAME AND THE POWER AND THE AUTHORITY that I now have in The Lord Jesus Christ. This message rings with truth and through practical application any who employ it will see victory in their transition.

Pastor Steven, I only wish I had caught this sermon 5 mths ago. I am so glad to have listened to this today. I am a little over 5mths clean from drugs and alcohol and it's not my first time in recovery. I've somehow lost my faith along the way. I've been really struggling with " the transition ". Every external thing/person is really affecting me. I suffer from mental illness as well, and I feel I have reached my breaking point. I dont want to go back to drugs and I dont want to die. I pray and I pray and I pray for God to make me stronger, but it's only getting worse. So I just want to THANK YOU, for making sense of it all without all the torture of External hindrances. THANK YOU PASTOR STEVEN, THANK YOU 💔💜💞

I've worked in restaurants and I would like everyone to stop this popular opinion that waiting tables is a form of charity. They make easily 10% across the board plus wages. Waiting tables is a choice and an art that if you are good at you will expect 20%. Give charity to people on the streets, not people who made a conscious choice to work in a place that feeds them for free. It's not a pity party to dine out. 10% is standard.

To live in abundant life, from dream to reality. Thank You Steven, such a great word, I have a new respect for my mess, how else can I have empathy for someone else's mess. I have been asking God for clarity in this season because the battle has just been intensifying in the transition.. I now see that though my outward seems to be ready there are DEFINITELY some old mindsets that I need to take back to the cross and leave there.. May the Lord continue to bless this ministry. This word was RIGHT on time.

This message is for me. My pastor has talked to me about doing more as a youth minister. He is adding more responsibility to me as a minister. I am officiating my first funeral and I noticed that doors are opening all around me to do more, to give more and I see this is all about transitioning to another level

This is SO Phenomenal I am Definitely "STUCK IN SOMETHING" MY husband passed in 2/2022 unexpectedly, we hadn't been in a good place in our marriage for years, I had prayed for years for God's guidance and healing, for my husband and his issues and addictions, for his inner demons and our marriage, one way or the other, I asked God...please just tell me what you want me to do, " one way or another, just tell me your will, Not my will..." And then it happened, But Now What?? I'm still Wondering, NOW what???

I just got out of a nearly one year relationship. I had made a mistake and he dumped me. I tried my best to earn him back. We had spoken and he agreed to give us another chance. Just to end things over a text and block me from his life. He has moved back to his home state and it hurts. I'm trying to do my best to transition to a better place, in mind and in spirit. That is all I hope. "A clean heart and a right spirit in me."

I've been trying to turn my spirit away from substances and towards Jesus, but it's been the hardest transition I've ever had to endure. But I just learned today that I'm going to be an uncle! God has blessed me even though I wasn't at my spot yet. Thank you Steven and thank you God for bringing me out of my darkest place!

All my life I’ve lived with insecurity. God has changed so much in my life. The devil keeps bringing things into my world to bring that insecurity back. This helped me I hear gods voice telling me I’m in control it’s time to grow and let go of fear and insecurities and hold my hand with faith. ❤️🙏

I went through one transition which ended three years ago. Now God is taking me through another transition. I am transitioning now from being in a traditional Church which is the United Methodist Church. I was a pastor in those churches and now I am transitioning to the more modern Outlook of a church. And that church is the one that you all show me every Sunday and during the week as I catch up with what Pastor Steven is preaching.

God knows!!! I am in a transitional period in my life. God gave me a word two years ago. I would start the walk with him but get distracted, get off course, fall short. There was little change. Last year I made a decision to move forward. This year my life has been constant changes and transitions. I believe God told me to leave my current city and move to another. Yet, I am stuck in my current city. My family and I were leaving this weekend. We didn't.

WHOA! This message was well over a year ago, yet it's like it was for me, today. There is a reason I came across this today after scrolling on Facebook and a friend shared the post with this video in the comments. I have been going through the biggest change in my life for the past 8-9 months, which is causing a huge transition in everything I know. It's like every element in my life is changing, all at once. It's extremely scary in some aspects, but some aspects have me excited to see what God has in store once I get through this, or even while I am going through it. I was raised up in the church, but have only recently really given my life to Christ, in the midst of all of this transition. My favorite point from this message is that sometimes God doesn't meet our expectations / what we are asking for, because He wants to exceed them / give us what we need (not what we desire). I have been praying to God for weeks to "fix" the situation I am in, and I just feel Him say "I am getting you through it. You are going forward … you are not staying where you are." It is so incredible to me how I have been going through this situation in my life for almost an entire year, and I am led to this message today. Just, WOW.

as a depression survivor this was needed. surviving it was my gift, the transition myself and my family are going through right now is a skill we are learning and growing through and we are letting go of the pain of the past and are back in church clinging to the cross. it is painful but we are here, i am still standing and we are growing

Wow!! This was just too good. It smacked some sense into my spirit. My wife passed away and I’ve been emotionally “paralyzed” ever since. But this message helped me come to the realization that I can’t go through another season holding on to the past and use that as an excuse to stay stuck. Yes, this sermon is for me. I am in transition. I got my God back, but learned he never left. Got my faith back and leatned how to accept his way and will. For the first time in my life i am speaking my truth. It took my voice for the better part of 4 months. I lost weight, and i was terrified. But he healed me and continues to work miracles within me. 🙏

Maximize the singleness. Don’t let people define your relationship with God. Depression doesn’t define me. It’s time to learn to accept myself. What God has is good. Waite for God to do it His way.
