Parnell Roberts always have been favorite actor. even on bonanza as Adam Cartwright. he was the sexiest cowboy in tv. he was the greatest.

Yep that's the intent, and Stanley is Frank Burns, the format is the same too, just 1 hr and more drama but caring doctors, patient stories and hinjinx with Stanley always trying to get the prankest guys on something, but they are too clever.

This Clifton James first appearance on trapper John md much later he made a second appearance again on trapper John Md a episode called thanks for giving when trapper got hurt in a car accident the night before thanksgiving

As a kid I loved this show and I still do too but I'm struck with how unethical the staff did to try to trick the daugher, even if she already knew. There's other stuff too as an adult I cringe at but its a lot of fun to watch.
