I AM SO ESTATIC over this new video and always can't wait for the next one. BUT ITS TIME you may consider getting some every day or every other day help. I WISH I WERE CLOSER, WOULD LOVE TO VOLUNTEER SOME TIME ❤❤
As an Ole 81 year old north mississippi boy I look watching your videos from huntin to trapping to hog knocken. Had to give up my hunting, fishing about 10 years ago (health reasons) so keep those videos commin as it helps me enjoy what I used to do. God love you for all you do. I am on my wifes FB thing so to explain that is not me in the picture but she usually went with me on my fishing trips as well sitting with me in my deer stand.

Another great video !! Have you ever thought about getting a go-pro and wearing it on your head so you wouldn’t always have to hold your phone? Seen lots of other trappers use them and they seem to work well… we as your fans that love you and your family could donate to the go-pro fund to help you get one! And I am being TOTALLY SERIOUS… about helping you get one. Just didn’t know if you had ever tried one!! Thx!!
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY brother and everyone else thank you for sharing your adventures and feeding hungry families and GOD Bless you and your family and friends
Winches are the only way to go! Save your back David! Take it from this 68 year old who didn't give her back a thought when I was your age. Now it tells me about it daily lol.
Massive respect for the vlog... sir, its a small catch, but hey, a pure quality one....couple of big old ones.....thanks, and keep doin what you do... 😊😊😊
Ok; from a housewife’s view-a small squeegee and a quart spray bottle of plain water would go a long way towards visibility 😉! Spritz, spritz, swipe, swipe and you’re good! Not showroom perfect, but doable 😁! I so enjoy your videos! Thanks again for sharing with us!!❤❤
I saw where you are going to be in Tifton Ga. soon. I live about twenty miles west and glad you're gonna be in our area. Have a good time and hope you like South Georgia.
David check out hold a hog snare traps. This may be the answer to hogs already around a feeder and not coming to cage trap. The snares work in conjunction with a steel trap. there is a small flat shelf welded to outside of jaws on large leg hold trap on which a spring loaded snare loop rests. When the leg hold is fired it throws the snare up the leg and a lite spring rapidly closes the snare. The bait is put in a fence post hole so the hogs are guided to the trap. I have also seen them used on the outside of a cage trap to catch hogs that will only circle cage and not commit. Happy head knockin!
You know, young man watching you work makes my arms hurt. You are a Beast of human being is wonderful to see that you have such awesome worth work ethics. Love your channel, always support you.
Some people think hogs are stupid/dumb when they are far from it. When I was a kid, our two 200 to 250 lb. hogs got out one Sunday morning. My brother and I found them and we each lead one back to their building. My brother got his hog to the building first where our Dad was waiting. The one hog fought, not wanting to go into the building. Physically, my Dad was a large man (6’2” 250 to 300 lbs). He hit the one hog between the eyes with his fist. It dropped. Then, he picked it up and tossed it over into the hay in the building. The hog I was leading saw what happened, knocked me out of the way, and climbed back over the rails into the building. We checked the pin very often but the hogs kept finding ways to get out. Smart little buggers!
Goodness David, you've lost some weight! Hope it was something you were working on and not due to ailments. Good to see you out there catchin them hogs again. Thanks for sharin.
Good morning brother David hope all is well I'm starting to get into my physical therapy routine and now it's hard work doing for the left knee replacement
Awesome video and it’s that time again! Also enjoyed listening to the podcast with the preacher man, lots of good stuff in there!! And thanks again for info on armadillo traps, will be picking them up this weekend. God bless and stay safe!!
Like the song says, "2 out of 3 ain't bad," David. Have you given any thought to using RAIN-X on your camera lenses? It's hydrophobic properties make rain and mud run right off! I use it on my windshield, and what a difference it makes. 😊😊😊😊
14:30 David, you needed a winch for those two little ol' hogs? Come on, man. Flex a bit. Use da guns, bro! LOL And yes, you should've put on the waders. 👍
With a 2nd watch. I've heard of a few of those big bits jumping out of the pens without a jump ring. I love your videos... Of every type of activity. ❤️ Em.
David, I have seen on other channels where the trapper backs up a trailer and hauls the live hogs off to the abattoir for processing and receives 40 cents a pound. Would that not be easier than dragging them dead out of the mud?
Thanks for your videos, it is amazing to see all those wild hogs. Here is a suggestion for when you use this round drop trap, why don't you put a net across the top (strong net like Pig Brig uses) just attached it with spring carabiners. It would only take a few minutes and would eliminate the concern over jumping out of the trap. I had seen a few hogs, especially when the ground is dry, that have jumped out. Maybe someone has already mentioned this or you have tried it and I missed it. I don't want these hogs escaping! LOL
I’m sure you have probably been asked this question. Can you extend the walls of the trap to prevent escaping, or is there a law about how high the trap can be? Love your channel and you and your family’s attitude! Keep up the great job you’re doing!
Hi David! Those were a couple good size pigs. They really didn't seem to scared of you. The way they were charging at you and stuff. Think they wanted a little scratch behind the ear or something. Lol.
Love your show. Would like to see more of Red.You two are fun to watch. Been home sick since Dec 24. Spent Dec 24 through 29 in hospital. It is now Febuary and I am still not back to work. Watching utube. We have watched other trappers you are one of a kind.
hey..i use a winch to haul firewood....put the hook from the winch onto the frame of the trailer gate after you have loaded the hogs onto the trailer gate,,,,,,then lift the gate up enough to clean the road and bumps...it will hold and go on your way....saves on trips.....
God bless you Sir! My Mama and I are praying for you and your family. We love your videos and ministry! Have you ever tried to use a drone to find the pigs?
Being from Maine we have some thick black mud but man they clay mississippi mud is scary. That stuff make you take back stuff you didnt even steal😂😂😂. Sent your videos to a bunch of people who want to introduce hogs here for sport hunting not realizing that once its done that genie dont go back in bottle.
Mechanic's Tip: Set the Truck Parking brake to eliminate the back and forth motion while loading the 4X4. Your tranny will thank you. Love from Long Island.
Good video! Hate you lost the one, but you may get him later! Glad you got those two aggressive guys outta there. God bless & keep you & your family! Be careful out there 😊
I dont know anything about hog traps but isnt there a way to put some kind of cover on them? I was thinking maybe some netting that would catch them if they happened to jump out?
Welcome back and absolutely another spectacular beautiful shooting filming footage and a very interesting video to watch .. appreciate your efforts and hard work for sharing such an amazing job .. thanks again David
