Kelly....you two seem to be a really good pair . Similar interests really helps two people make a good relationship ... I never could find that . The thing I loved about Florida was that wildlife never seemed that far away , you just needed to know where to look . I have to admit when I was swimming at New Smyrna beach and watching the surfers I was with my Son ( 3 years old at the time ) and it was killing me that I felt a little to old to start surfing and he was a little too young . I can't complain though I've had a good life and done everything I had the chance to do . Enjoy your lives and take every adventure you can . PK

Hi Kelly Those fresh water prawns you have caught and let go are identical to the fresh water Cherubin we have in Northern Australia. Our Cherubin can grow twice the size to those you caught. So happy to see them.

A good Netflix show is Good Girls. Another great watch is Stallone family on paramount, its more about Slys daughters than him which is way more interesting. Where in Stewart is this, its beautiful, I didn't even know there was fresh water until you got to the springs near Orlando.

Hi Kelly, a nice local fun video. You have good taste in the music spots. When I was in Eastern MA (I'm in Western MA now, 10 min from the New York border), there was a river about .5mi from my house. Great place to take the kids canoeing and fishing and finding turtles and snakes, slamanders, etc. Actualy, there were a lot of lakes in the area about 16 milesw North and West of Boston. I brought a pretty big Snapping turtle home for a few days. Beak to tail he was as long a little tricycle we had. My #4 son was big on animals and often brought home forgs, turtles, mice, etc. The Teens near the river in my neighborhood bow shot carp. It was a good place to bring up my 5 kids. Stay safe and well and enjoy your break around the house.

Fresh water Eels breed in the sargasso sea an area in the north Atlantic around the east of Bermuda area some migrate to north America some migrate to Europe reason for their different journey unknown . So glad you let it go as their numbers are declining due to over fishing and oceanic warming . Jellied eels used to be a staple in certain areas of the UK sadly it is now find the EeL. Good to see Fin happy and well we need more Fin the boisterous little pooch (Hound for you guys over the pond )

My grandfather told a story about when he was growing up. It must have been about 1915 than he caught a fresh water eel while fishing. Some older guy saw him catch it and asked if he could have it to help with his rheumatism. My grandfather gave the eel to the guy. Later when he was telling his father about it, his father gave him hell for giving the eel away. His father claimed that eel was great to eat. As far as I know, my grandfather never caught another eel. I live in the same area and have never seen an eel either.
