Good Sunday Morning David! It's always a blessing to have true friends that aren't afraid to help. So, was it a biscuit or burger? Anyways, I see times that you have hogs jumping the traps and escaping. What if you add a solar hot wire around the top rail of the traps? Also, you could add pvc rollers that could stop them from escaping. Just a little modification that might help keep those jumpers grounded...

The best emergency ice skapper is a CREDIT CARD old or one you don't use all the time. I have been doing this for years and have not brokened one yet. Love your videos and you.🙏🐷🐽🐖🐽🐽🐽🐽

At first I really enjoyed watching your videos, having grown up on a farm in Kansas with 9 siblings. Thought you were a little corney but enjoyed the trapping and catching. Now, I’m more impressed with the man you are, how you love and incorporate the Lord in every aspect of your life. Your devotion and support to your family is beyond remarkable. Yet, you are sensitive and kind, going back to the video you were so sad remembering your mother’s birthday. I truly love the new look. I want to know what kind of camera you are using. It looks much closer to film than digital video does. I have never liked the digital look in modern movies, but whatever you are doing here is great. There is a big push in the movie industry, and camera manufacturers, such as Arri and RED, to get as close to the film-look as possible with digital cameras. Been watching your videos for awhile now, had to look up where at in Mississippi you were in this video. We live in Florida but have deer camp just outside of McComb little further south on 55 and have started seeing more pigs than last few years. Hope to head over there in a couple weeks and build a C style trap and knock out a few before deer season. Keep up the great videos…

Keep up the good work! That marlin model 60 has you served you well. Mcarbo has a spring kit you can put in to drop the trigger pull down to 3 pounds. It really brings the rifle to a whole new level of performance.

David have you thought of using an electric fence to keep the jumpers in, one that is only energized once the trap is dropped maybe it would be turned on when the cable is released maybe help you not having to jump up and worry about losing hogs. This way the sections wouldn’t need the extra rail making them weigh more.

For that frozen windshield, but a gallon of winter windshield washer fluid and a quart spray bottle and a small squeegee. Apply the fluid, wipe it down and you'll be good to go in about 2 minutes. I keep a sprayer in the car for all the windows that need it.

A hack I have always used to scrape my windshield when I am missing an ice scraper is a bank card or credit card. Usually have one with me and works like a charm in a pinch.
