from my understanding , thw swiss manufacturer for tracer watches actually invented tritium valves for use in watches and it also supplies to some other manufact/watches - but traser is their own brand.

I just want to share my love for this lights ,I have the P38 Luminox automatic I believe they have the same effect,I enjoy wearing this pieces

Never owned a Traser but have owned some Luminox watches. Would love a Traser Divers watch.

What type of battery you need to buy for it after one stops working?

The normal GTLS light source uses aT25 tube. If one wants a much brighter illumination one should look for a T100 model which, presumably because of higher radioactivity, Traser can only export to the USA, and the UK.

They’re all lovely. My favourite ‘s the last one. But seems to be a bit smaller than others. Maybe it’s only the illusion.

The Automatic model is equipped with a Sellita caliber. For the quartz version, they only mention Swiss Made Quartz GMT movement. Therefore, it can be either a ETA, Sellita or Ronda movement.

Love your videos, Marc! Wondering if the warrantee changed at all on Trasers with the distribution change? I got a pair of quartz Trasers years ago for myself and my father, mine was fine but his had problems. The place Traser directed us to (because Traser didn't offer any repair) was not great, and took a couple times to fix it. The repair was also expensive. I was surprised that the gas lights faded a lot on mine after 5-7 years. When I contacted them about having them replaced, they said they weren't able to do that. Where I can still see mine glowing in the darkest of rooms, they're useless at night outside. Although I thought mine was worth the money, I don't think I would buy another Traser, due to how they supported their product. I should add that we did not buy our watches from Long Island Watch, so this observation is based purely on Traser as a company back when we needed their help.

The blue Automatic looks absolutely georgeous. $1,000 is unfortunately 2x my watch budget :-(

I always wear a Tritium watch at the movies. Not to bright and never fades away.

Lug to lug of 56mm?! Way too big. Definitely for a professional adventurer/explorer wearing it over a jacket sleeve cuff... Very cool nonetheless!

Why don't watch companies out just a bit of Superluminova on the tips of the hands of watches with tritium tubes on them? I did that on one of my Luminox(practiced on an old watch first) . Glows bright when you come from outside and enter a dark room, then when your eyes adjust the tritium is more visible as the Superluminova fades.

I like 'm, but too large for my skinny wrist unfortunately. My P67 Officer Pro is still my most worn watch though. I have grown a 6th finger since I got it, but that actually comes in pretty handy sometimes :p

I wish they’d make luminous paint with some Caesium 137, so we can get that healthy Chernobyl tan.

The lack of color diversity on the tritium is unfortunate. Especially with the GMT hand, they should have used a contrasting color.

I have an older Luminox watch with tritium and it’s got to be 20 years old and still glowing away. I was told tritium only lasted about 15 years what’s your experience?

I had a Traser... it lasted long enough to expire the guarantee. I now have Casio.... cheaper, more accurate, original battery after three years.

I'd buy that blue automatic right now if it wasn't sized for giants. Can anyone point me to something very similar for people with normal wrists?
