I used to work for a Clock company we would put those weights together they had solid lead core that would go inside. the outside was real brass because you had to wear gloves so that your hands wouldn’t stain the brass. The clocks movement inside the cabinet are brass as well and it is mounted with 2 to 4 screws easy out
I would of had to been nosey and went and knocked on those peoples door and ask them where in the BLUE BLAZES did they have that big rod hanging at......WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA that thing looked like it was 15ft long :D
I dont understand u bro u worry about cutting cords off mics and stuff but u leave the cord on the refrigerator and throw out a aluminum scooter but ur worried about aluminum cans
Where do you do your scrapping in Florida? I lived in De Land for 28 years. Moved to Georgia and there isn’t too much of curbside bulk garbage pick up. Wish there was tho…
i dont know how they do it in Florida but in Texas the junk yards will give more money for those ballasts in the fluorescent fixtures might be worth taking them off first
Charles, those clock weights have lead in them if you unscrew the nuts that are actually the hook the lead will come out also in the clock the movement is solid brass so the next time you see one you should try and break that movement out I build grandfather clocks for years
@@stephaniejacob9293 I do same for hobby I got place to store my junk so I'll hoard it sucks for people that are trying to make a living of scraplife 👍👉 it's sad really
You should have left the weights and thing's to that Grandfather clock alone. Somebody would love to have the clock. That was mean and hateful to do that.
