Definitely a good artist. He came up off his iconic song "IDFC" and g eazy collabs. He just had a hit song with mgk and his collab albums with Mike Posner was great. Under the name "Mansionz"

For the album this song is on in particular, a lot of his songs have undertones of how people who call themselves friends take advantage of him for his money and don’t give him anything in return for it. Even into about people who didn’t think twice about him before he was famous, but now he’s automatically their best friend because he’s got money and fame. Basically saying if that’s all he’s good for now, then he ain’t got time for it and ain’t got time for you. That’s what I take from a lot of it.
I think blackbear's music peaked in 2017, he still has a lot of good music now but his "Deadroses" album in 2015 and "Digital druglord" in 2017 are his best albums. React to "I miss the old U" next!!

blackbear is a pop/hip-hop/r&b musician who's been underground for SO long. He does a lot of ghost writing and producing for artists like G-Eazy, Maroon 5, and even co-wrote/produced the song "Boyfriend" by Justin Beiber.
Also the woman in THIS video is now (4ish years ago) his BABYS MOM and fiancé with their second beautiful baby boy on the way. Just out of respect I wanted to mention it because I LOVE them both and their relationship.
Blackbear is also known as a song writer for ed Sheehan, Justin bieber and him wrote boyfriend and he worked with Mike posner on their collab album "mansionz", YOU NEED TO KNOW him. He has songs with huge people like g-eazy and mgk now but he as an independent artist is my personal FAV. I have followed him for YEARS I even have not one but TWO tattoos inspired by him. He is starting to get recognition but he has been around for awhile. Ne-yo signed him when I think he was 16 and he is 30 (2 years older than me) now.

We need more blackbear reactions he’s got a crazy catalog. Hes mostly self produced but that goes without saying once you hear more of his songs and the creativity in them. I’d recommend idfc since that’s the one that really took him up and it’s got a wavy laid back beat I think you’d like.

Bro you should react to a song called "So Beautiful - DPR Ian" it's a guy from a popular group in Korea. Insanely catchy, unique and the cinematography is incredible. You'd dig it my guy. It's really far from K Pop but doesn't get the love in the US as much as it deserves.
Its his best song imo. He played at my college home coming concert and was a lot of fun but quite a few of his others songs aren’t near as good as this

Been bumping Blackbear before he wrote Boyfriend for Justin Beiber (THATS RIGHT) back when him and Tyler Carter from Issues worked together. MGK and Blackbear go back to Lace Up and I feel like a lot of people forget that. End of the Road was a song that helped me so much as a kid.
