Low key ross' story saved my life about 10 years ago & he doesn't even know it. Thank you so much for making a song/video to match that energy. My boys pretend to not know what I've gone through, but they dont. Most ppl won't understand. & that's okay. I just wanted to say thank you, to the ones paying attention. To the ones that survived. & to the ones that vicariously live through the rest of us living even though they didn't ask us to. Keep doing whatchu do dawg. I hope you see this & it makes you grind & appreciate that your still here & that it's worth it. 🤙
Man I remember when I first found him years ago, dude deserves everything he’s accomplished, he is definitely one of those talents that I get inspired by.
Not sure how I found your channel (the algorithm !) but wow… i heard Ross’s story years ago and Joyner is just an incredible storyteller… appreciate your reaction… what a wild video and story all around.
This song hits hard and he probably has really bad trust issues now because its not every day you get shot in the arm, gut and head and survive and this man did more than fight and survive he survived and told his story.
This is the first video of your’s that I have seen, and it was amazing. I’m a huge Joyner fan, but I’ve Never heard this song either until now. You had great insight and positive vibes the whole time. Loved it bro. Keep it up. New sub.
I’ve already seen this song before. Along with the video. And just watching the story. Tbh every Time i hear that melody at the beginning now it sends chills through me.
This song is hella sad omg first time I show it I cried it broke my heart Joyner Lucas is a fucking god at rapping what he dose to his lyrics and story telling it's amazing your a gift from God. God bless you Joyner Lucas
I watch all the reaction videos on this music video, because I was absolutely mind blown and emotional the first time I watched and to see how other people react.
#Firesquad LayedBak this is one of my favorite storytelling songs, and It’s one of my favorite songs from Joyner I think it’s one of his best for sure. Thank you for reacting to it
Joyner is a great story teller. This song is def one of his best ones. You should check out his song backwards. He actually raps backwards. Their is a video to it.
True story turned into a true legendary rap song with a message THIS is why we love and rate Joyner he took rap back to its beginning and made a rap from a story and it’s fire video so emotional even got Busta Rhymes in his feels he said it’s like a modern day Stan
You need to react to the actual story, Ross capacchioni is the name of the kid this happened to and he lived and the video is him telling his story, Joyner Lucas called up Ross and asked him to tell his story through a rap and Ross said yes, also Check out the reaction video for this song, Joyner Lucas showed a very famous rapper and his reaction was tears and amazement, I wont spoil the artist name.
This is a masterpiece of a song in my opinion. When Joyner Lucas does this type of shit he’s incredible. People say his thing is the double time flow and all that, which he is great at doing, but I think his storytelling is just ridiculously good.
Joyner Joyner .....dope rapper ....barz baby ....storytelling Is what he does .....all love for hip hop .....2k19 .....peace ...self love ....positivity .....growth ......
Joyner Lucas is already a LEGEND!!! an incredible meaningful Artist with outstanding lyrical performances & a big heart. An incredibly brutal & dark song but what's so scary is that really happens & these fools would kill you for a CAR!!! that's some evil sh#t, they can be so merciless over anything & take a life, scary
The best part of his story is when he say He felt a pair of hands pin pick him up and nobody wss there but whatever proceeded to push him outward towards the ally...We all know who sent this baby help that day
this made me cry, how wicked and evil humans can be, especially friends. he wanted something so bad in life he didn't have and thats family, yet when he met a friend he was introduce to that friend family but he had to tell himself something to use it as a pivot to kill him to join a devil call gang
I read a story online about a similar story, somewhere out in one of those dangerous mid-west cities. The kid survived because an on duty police officer *barely* noticed the kid limping out of an alleyway nearly dead. The PO risked his life getting out of the car and saving him tbh.
the only new hip hop artists for me who can be in the top 50 of the best rappers like the old school artists. This guy got his on style of music, just he's dope, he got the flow, the lyrics, he got the juice.
am i the only one who gets chills with the aerial view, knoqing boutta just switch it up and give the gang members perspective. fucking genius storytelling.
The thing is, he didn't die. You can watch Ross's (the guy who got shot) side of the story. Not everything was 100% true in this song but joyner is phenomenal at story telling.
Ross is actually alive yeah and the gang dude was found and sentenced to prison. As said by Em, Joyner is one of the best storytellers by not compromising his bars to tell his story, and we just roll with it.
He didn’t die he still alive with all brain activity it’s truly a miracle I would watch his video on RU-vid Ross cappichioni inspiration bro and aye keep kicking it bro these videos be better then @djghost all that man do is talk
