This video is exactly the reason I watch you. Not only do I love the beach town picking but my family and I can totally relate to your self-employed situation. My husband and I are in our 60s and his is an entrepreneur thru and thru; he has always been self employed and, yes, there are tough times, and you have always got to be reinventing and reaching for the next thing, but it gave us so much freedom to raise our two kids and to be a real presence in their lives. Always grateful for that. KEEP PUSHING!!! You guys are great!!!

Hey Tucker, I just wanted to say I can relate to your situation a lot. I have a year and a half year old with another on the way, while supporting my family with online sales primarily. It’s always been stressful, especially now with kids. It’s nice watching your videos and seeing that someone else is going through life the same way I am. Sometimes it feels like when things are going good and stuff is selling that it’s too good to be true. I love the flexibility this way of life affords me and the time I’m able to spend with my son is priceless. Keeping on claiming bro!

Keep faith in yourself, it works and you put the effort in it to see that it works. I grew up in family where my dad was self employed, having that freedom of self employment meant so much to me and my brothers, Dad was there for us during the years that we needed him most, we could go to work with him in the summer when school was out. Some days we would just go ridding around in the country and the state forest, some times we would go fishing, sometimes we would help him work.. it was all just good quality time. Now when I look back I know that we were poor but we never knew that we had all that we ever needed and we were loved. Just my thought on a self employed dad. Finn will remember all the time she spent with you and Sammie and all the love you showed her, she will not care about any of the other things. Just keep doing what you are doing as hard as you work, you will succeed.

Grandmas chair is a GEM 💎 my grandma had the love seat version of this and I got it after she passed on. She had it redone with lime green cushions and I used it as a baby rocker 💚💚

That table that you picked up doesn't necessarily need glass to replace the opening. You could cut some pallet boards to fit and stain them gray.

Love these videos. Looks like OC really delivered! As for next steps, security, etc, you are a dreamer and you will find a path. Everyone goes through that thinking, whether self-employed or not. I’m 68 so my view won’t be yours but you are a thinker and you will figure it out. Watch the trends (solid and fleeting), then try it. Who ever thought there’d be an eBay? Who ever thought people would thrift or pick or find and make a living? You will do it.

Hey Tucker, the rust on the arm of one of the metal bar stools can be remedied with a can of rustoleum spray paint and a piece of sand paper. Less than $10.

Oh my 👀 I would have taken that granny rocker chair, that was such a quick fix . Lightly sand. The scratches then cover with Old English Dark wood .. wipe on wipe off and it’s shines also .. Or after you sand the scratches use brown wax shoe polish and buff off . , under the set just crisscross and screw to sides any kind of strapping, and use any kind of single even porch chair cushions .. That was vintage and All that I would have paid $50. At a yard sale or on facebook marketplace.. That was a really cute chair and it rocked …👍🏼👍🏼😄 Skelly

Hi Tuck, the good things about finding items out on the side of the road is you can use some spray paint and get a good price for something that's being thrown out. It would take Sammi J maybe 10 minutes to paint those tables. The armes of the chairs that you are thinking about. Lol to be young again. I loved having an Antique store.

Tucker if you're looking for a cool piece to fill the void for that marble table check out the tile section at Lowes or Home Depot. It looks like it might be 12 X 12 so a dark grey or black tile would look good, it's worth a shot, then likely to sell quick

You are a very hard working man and I know it is scary sometimes to be your own boss. You have built a very strong business and you should not doubt yourself. You have great work ethic and you are doing a fantastic job. We have a famous donut place called Brits. It makes only glazed donuts, but they are warm and delicious. You should have taken your trailer with you on this run. It would be stacked high with lots of scrap metal. You could put scrap metal in the trailer and the things you get to sell, you can put those items in the back of your truck. There was probably close to $100.00 in scrap you could have gotten. 😊

I was self employed and worked in a very poor area of cape May county so I wasn’t in it for the money. I had to retire due to an injury has been hardest thing I’ve ever done. I don't know if I've told you this before but full strength simple green spray it on that wicker in the basket five minutes later rinse it off and they'll be just as clean as New. You'll be shocked at all the filth that will come out. I use it to clean everything. It works almost instantly and plastic items end up looking brand new very quicklyand it's nontoxic don't use it anything that has gold on it though
