Better luck with the Wii's than I've ever had. Closest thing i got was a Wii box.My eyes lit up like hen's eggs when i noticed it.Opened it, and saw it was full of bird feed!! :)

I MADE IT!!! Last Aug. 22nd of 2018 I set a goal of watching from the beginning of the 1st E.Waste Ben video in the middle of 2015 to the current Aug. 22nd 2018 vid, for a 2nd time for each one. It was an education to catch up to the vid released on Aug. 22nd. I had already watch all of them once so this was a time to watch and learn the most I could from Ben's wisdom. It worked, I learned more the 2nd time around than the 1st. I also never made a RU-vid comment before Aug. 22nd last year (5+ months ago). I made a point to say something or at the very least give it a thumbs up emoji on each vid as well. Thanks for the the education and entertainment Ben! I'm going to continue to watch all your vids twice, with a few months to maybe a year in between. It's been a GREAT ride! 👍👍👍👍

@lonewolfgeoff
@lonewolfgeoff 6 лет назад
a thought on the scrapped pc's (some not all) maybe the owners stripped em pre putting out. i know i keep the cards, drives, cooling fans (reuseable), processor and heatsink as i sometimes rebuild them (in a smaller case) but not for use as a pc! nice work with the old gent! he needed it (had his hip done?) as he would never managed alone! karma was good to you, regardless of lack of pc's! (be funny if you got a stack of unscrapped pc's (6+) from someone who needed to get shot of em! like an ewaste pickup but during street scrapping!) all those cords... you'll end up with music (sorry! lol)
@eWasteBen

I think he said his hip went that day, yeah maybe a few take out hard drives but it's not normal for pc's to be scrapped like that, I do see guys sitting on piles for a while so that's what they're doing I bet

Thanks for the videos Ben. Ur street scrapping adventures are a interesting as all get out. Seeing what gets thrown away is mind blowing. In one video u said people scrap their computers out because of porn 😂😂😂😂😂😂 too funny. Your most likely right too. But the majority of parts they take that make it look scrapped out is probably because they have no clue when they open it what part it is they need, so they take it all.

If those blowers still work, then you could make a waste-fuel burner for melting down large quantities of aluminum to get the breakage out before you scrap it.

At 4:50 those things are collectible. You may want to drop it at an antiques shop and ask them to sell it for you on consignment. I know the Mulgrave area, used to work in that area for two different companies, nice area of Melbourne. Nice scrapping day.

Would like to hear the story about your van. When you got it, new or used. Also what would your dream scrapping vehicle setup be? Van and trailer? Pickup and trailer? No trailer.
@eWasteBen
@eWasteBen 6 лет назад
got it used, van/trailer is good for my needs but trailers aren't always good for street scrapping, some areas have a lot of small courts that I need to 3 point turn out of, a trailer would be awkward and take a lot of time, but would allow for more steel and better cash flow.
