Whoever originally owned this must have had more money than brains to destroy a Les Paul Standard. Even more troubling is that the original owner did a junk fix and then sold it to someone else probably without saying anything about it. Then you come along and resurrect it from the dead. It may not be its former glory but you did a great job bringing it back to life especially with everything you had to do to fix this beast. Thanks for sharing your work and like somebody else said, you completed all the work in only 16 minutes. If you do any others keep posting them.

That poor piece of wood was raped by Gibson and you nurtured it back to life Big D! Stellar work mate! 👍🏼👍🏼

And to think 🤔 I get a little nervous removing a bolt on neck. I’ve never messed with a glued in neck but I’ve seen enough wood panel glue ups where the wood fiber breaks while the glue line holds, to freak me out.

Its folks like you who make this world a special place, a lot of work went into the video not including the guitar... just a pleasure to watch and I learnt tons, thank you.

What i've learnt with this video is that the legend about the shitty gibsons is truth. Lot of work to make them as they were supposed to be. Great work and skills dude !

I feel like I owe this a like and a comment, at the least, after all you went through. I do like that color.

you obviously put ALOT of time and effort into this guitar, doing things that even pro guitarists would have no idea of what went into this process! when you talk about what you 'couldve done better' and point out 'flaws' for everyone to look at...while extremely humble of you, you're selling yourself short! ( dont address your 'mistakes', because if you didnt, noone else probably would've even noticed). Matto-o-fact..THIS video has DE-inspired me to do the same to a Hondo 2 les paul i have that severely needs work! ( i assumed that the process would be rainbows and dandelions)...but nope....not only do i not have the time or $, but the BINDING was enough to stop me cold ... you did an amazing job dude! ...again, don't reveal what you feel are 'flaws' or 'shortcomings'. that is a damn nice guitar that you did a damn good job on!. if you can't be proud of yourself, well then... i am proud for you, because again, you did an awesome job!
