I LOVE this- this is realistic. We don’t all live in show home houses. This is a family home and oh my goodness. Well done mama. Certainly given me a kick up the butt. Our home is upside down since the very first U.K. lockdown 🙈🙈

Firstly, you do not need to justify the amount of toys your kids have, they are your kids, your money, your house how you choose to live your life is completely up to you 😘 secondly, I would hold off doing your kitchen floor until you do the cabinets doing it all in one go is a lot easier! Maybe in the meantime use some grout refresh/paint and redo the grout white, it will really brighten up the floor and is a cheap quick alternative while you wait to have the whole kitchen done!? Just a thought! Sorry for the essay 🤦‍♀️😂😘😘

I would replace the floors now especially when the cabinets are finished it will feel more complete. Also buy extra flooring just in case they are discontinued by the time you go to renovate the kitchen 😊

Wow! I honestly don’t know what to say. I have such a different approach and that is totally okay!! I couldn’t sleep at night if there is a mess. Good for you cleaning so much in a day. That is awesome! Have you tried to have a cleaning schedule or a evening routine? Just a thought. Love how motivating this was!

For the ceiling fan - take a old pillow case & put it over & pull. Then the pillow case catches all the dust!

It is really inspiring to watch them because no matter how messy your house gets, you always make it look like there was never a mess in the first place and it makes me feel better about when my house gets out of order I'll be able to get it back in shape. Like the piano in living room, but I would move the sofas and are rug closer to your TV to free up space so you can see the piano better. Also move your 2 dinning room chairs to the other side of your big door opening and put the bench on the side of the console to see your console nicely decorated

Great video! My boys are not little anymore! Enjoy the toys that mess was their little minds creating wonderful adventures:) I have four big boys now my oldest is 20 I have twins that are 19 and my baby is 18. I miss the blocks blankies and curious hands carefully building towers that reach the stars:) Enjoy it all every minute! I now have a Navy sailor, a construction worker and a delivery driver all things they pretended to be when they were little❤

New subbie. Just found you. Loved your video of you cleaning a truly lived in home. I also was happy to see you show how it is really like trying to clean with kids around. I can relate to cleaning with my toddler around. I dont know what these other you tubers do with their kids when they clean. For some reason they are just not around. That is so unrealistic. Love this kind of videos. We only got an 85m2 (900 squarefeet ?!) Appartement with 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom so I am also kind of thankful that we don’t have the space for that much stuff to store and things to clean 🙈

A tip for cleaning up the floor - instead of using your fingernail, a razor blade or bread tie can get those little bits of stuff up. We keep bread clips in our junk drawer for this exact reason. Not the twist ties, the little plastic ones.

It’s actually incredible the amount of dirt still on the floor after a steam mop. If you steam mop I’d go over it again with a mop and bucket with some sort of disinfecting solution .

What a funny coincidence 🤣,I have the same floor in my kitchen and I hate it ,also planning to renovate my kitchen within a year or so but oh so desperate to replace the flooring,can't decide if I should replace it now or wait until the cabinets are done, common sense tells me to do the cabinets first and then the floor

Ceramic tile works best for kitchen durability, just stick to darker colors to "hide" dirt. Imo, I'd move piano to behind loveseat where there's more pathway. Little Jack was clingy to you this video! ❤️🥰

There is peel and stick flooring you can put down in your kitchen for now..it goes right over your tile floor...and it is not that expensive.

I always taught my kids they can play in any room, but it has to get picked up. My daughter loved to play in the bathtub with her Barbies! Good plan for your 12-year-old.
