My son is gay, and I am a believer. I am a Protestant. I love my son, always did love him, and I’ve never been ashamed of him. When he told me, which I could see was so hard for him, I told him I knew because I did. I wasn’t going to just bring it up. I told him I love him no matter what and it was ok. We are close

Margaret & Clifford are incredible for their age, not just physically, but in their wisdom & empathy. I’m so glad they accepted David being gay. That’s pretty extraordinary for religious parents at that time. They’ve been through a lot & I respect them so much. The other couple, where the wife had the DS brother, were amazing too. You just never know what others are going through!

@SnowPink90

I find in the UK that if you have a problem, such as David’s bad back that he hurt at work, they just don’t employ you anymore so in other words are fired. What they should be doing instead is maybe putting him in another department in the health care system and that could’ve helped him along but losing his job like that over no fault of his own, must’ve been so devastating for him. Sometimes a place could be warm and they have a feeling for their employees and then other places are just so cold. If anything is wrong with you there’s the door go out and never come back and will welcome somebody else in your place not caring what’s happening to you. I thought that was so upsetting.😢

My heart and thoughts go out to Margaret and Clifford. I'm a devout Christian. I always knew my wonderful child was 'different'. Most people thought she was just a tomboy, but strangely I knew she wasn't. When she was 16 she told us she was gay. She didn't have the easiest go of things during her earlier years. Attending a private Christian school (K - 12) had its ups and downs but for the most part, she was supported there. I was her loudest cheerleader and biggest defender. When she turned 30 after much thought and counselling she chose to transgender to a man. It's been a hard 3 years for him, but he's gotten lots of support. As for me, I won't lie it was a bit hard and still is. I SO miss my beautiful daughter. But we will always support him no matter what. I told him I'd take a bullet for him if it came to that no matter what. I'm a fierce mama bear hands down❣

I had a grandson that is now my granddaughter. I love her unconditionally. I called her one day and during our conversation I asked if she felt that way for a long time. She said things about her childhood finally made sense. I had just had a grandmother necklace made so had to change the charm from a boy to a girl. I can't change the bracelet I have because the names are etched into it and it wasn't cheap. I don't wear it because now the name is wrong. She's worth it! I love all my grandkids and nothing will change that. I have a friend from high school and her ex-husband said that if any of his kids came out as gay, they will no longer be his child. That really upset me. I've lost touch with them but will have to see if any of their kids are gay. I pray that if they are, he didn't really disown them.

I always kind of believed there was an almighty God up there, but when my sister took her life at the age of 41 leaving behind two kids, I became a full on atheist. In half the Canadian provinces bicycle helmets are mandatory and in another three mandatory for minors. This is not nanny-stating: it's an acknowledgement that accidents involving those who don't wear them put a huge strain on the health-care budget. These programs are old and don't reflect the current crisis. The NHS is staggering from lack of doctors, inadequate funding, and the huge number of people who are fat and sick because of terrible diets, alcohol, lack of exercise, an insane number of traffic accidents, etc. People are dying waiting for emergency care and cancer treatments. Ambulances can't keep up. The Canadian system is similarly stressed but not as bad (yet). Still, at least nobody goes bankrupt in either country paying for treatment, unlike the situation in the U.S.

So I know their pain . 💔 I have no other children and scared to death of losing him too. They lost their daughter to cancer. I only hope I don't out live my son because he's all I have left other than a brother and a couple good friends. Life is so full of pain. But no pain greater than losing a child except for losing them all. Losing a child to suicide is a whole other level of devastation. So many emotions to deal with like anger , guilt and shame for some parents. You just want to die . But Jesus got me to where I am today ! Always pray for all the lost , hurting parents out there just trying to survive , for everyday is another day trying to survive . Thank you Jesus for walking with me on this journey.

@@snahg2356. Do not throw your faith away on an earthly trial. This is the best way I’ve ever heard it put. Some things are just not meant for us to know down here, but God will make it known to us in Heaven. He would love to make it known to us the how and why of everything but he just wants us to TRUST AND OBEY HIM. At the right time he will make it known to us and sometimes we find out the why a few years down the road. Who knows? Maybe he takes them on because there is something going to happen to them down the road that would cause them great physical or mental pain. God always has our best interests at heart and he’s always going to be with us through thick or thin. He said he would never leave us and he won’t.

What happened to the gentleman with the swollen wrist?
@Pammellam
@Pammellam 17 дней назад
The Dr said it was not broken and his blood work was good. They put him in a splint and sent him home but he was to come back again because the Dr wanted to get to the bottom of why his wrist was so swollen. There was no follow up after that.

Sara having to take care of her brother Peter is something I don't wish for my daughter. I have a son with cerebral palsy and I worry what will happen to him after I pass away. There are no facilities here for him, and I have no other family. Care is going to fall directly on my daughter and I don't think that's fair.

Did the man who had the motorcycle accident have Downs Syndrome?! At the end of the video I didn’t see any traits of Downs. He didn’t have the flattened nose and face nor the eyes having only one lid? Maybe I misheard his sister say that?

The mother and daughter crying in front of someone who is in that condition is not helpful. Talking about the fact that he's covered in so much blood and all that, not helpful. Clueless.

Yea bc it's super easy for them not to have any emotions in that time. Your the clueless one. Have some empathy Jesus
@Mary-tj5qx
@Mary-tj5qx 4 месяца назад
@@ryancionka262 The problem isn't their lack of emotion, it's that all of their emotions are about them. If they'd had more empathy, they wouldn't have made it all about them and instead would have done whatever was necessary to give him comfort. Exclaiming that he was covered in blood wasn't it. I've been a nurse. I've seen all of the reactions. Most people do not react to someone else being gravely ill by making it all about themselves. They really don't. They monitor their own reactions and think about comforting their loved one. I'm far from clueless, I'm just more informed than you.

Dr Harsha is STUNNING n very kind. Being a Jew I get discrimination. Now……more than ever.

I am so sorry! Discrimination is horrible...none of us chose our parents or our race. People need to learn to see with their heart, not their eyes!

There are no gods. It's ok. hold on to each other and if you need help, reach out to the community. Hopefully you will have already connected with your community but don't ignore them. Most of them will help.

The young gay nurse who was driven to suicide seems to have received no medical attention beyond being diagnosed with a back problem. Was there no specific damage identified or surgical intervention available? This doesn't speak well of the socialized medicine this TV series is intended to promote.

The worst thing I’ve seen on these English medical shows is the lack of beds available. I know here are benefits to socialized medicine, but having to send people home that are scheduled for cancer surgery because there are no ICU beds available is not one of them.
