What cleaners, if any, can be used to help clean out the rust? Is a brass brush ok to use? Are there any torque specs or sealant needed after servicing?
No brush or cleaner needed. You are mostly looking to clean out any sediment, calcium, and or large rusted bits. Screws have a lock washer so just make sure they are compressed.
