Katie, I also feel ya. Quick story: On our way back from Mexico, we encountered really bad turbulence. All of a sudden, my 7 year old screamed a delightful giggle. Each time the turbulance hit, she was delirious with laughter - which in turn made all us nervous travelers laugh with her. Her innocent fun saved us all from fear that day! I'll never forget.

Katie I can’t tell you how much I relate 😓 I’ve had flying anxiety ever since I was a kid, and it hasn’t subsided even to this day. I’m flying to Orlando in March for the very first time ever, my longest flight ever, and I’m dreading it, so this helps me so much just to know you can get through it.

Even after years of flying, I still get those nerves before a flight. Loss of appetite, and stomach upset. I wish I could just relax but it gets me everytime. Once I am on the plane I am fine. Thanks for this, you really captured the flight! I "almost" felt like I was there too. Well done. I look forward to more of your Floridian adventures!!

Oh my gosh, Katie. I am exactly like you on a plane, especially during take off and landing. Its comforting to know I’m not alone 😁 because usually I look around on the plane and everyone looks so chill and I feel CRAZY. And I loved peering into your bag of goodies. Wow Katie... You don't know how much you've touched my heart. For you to be real with your fears, but also to say "It's part of life and nervousness and being scared is totally normal and its okay. It's part of the process" is HUGE. It gives the rest of us the message that it is OKAY. We don't often hear that and I'm just really grateful to your realness and your honesty. You made me well up. It's a HUGE accomplishment to push through something that scares you. You are a superhero and by shining your courage, we can all be inspired to face our fears head on too. You rock! I first went to WDW in 1972 when it was just a baby. Just the MK. I was in the 8th grade and took my first plane trip from upstate NY. Good times. Magical times. Thank you both for sharing.

I love watching your Orlando travel vlogs! My daughter works at WDW and lives in Kissimmee so I fly out there (from Utah) several times a year to visit. That airport seems like home to me 😂 I hope you have a great time there! We are excited to be flying the other direction to California in a few weeks to finally use our new Magic Keys and my WDW CM daughter is flying from Orlando to CA to meet us there 🙂

I’m excited for you and Spencer going to Orlando FL for the 50th anniversary I hope y’all have a wonderful time, stay safe, short story my parents and I were on Vacation for two weeks in Orlando Florida September 5-19th it was fun. We traveled from South Carolina to Orlando Florida it took 8hrs in a car from there and back home.

Coast to coast is a LONG flight. I fly Seattle to Tampa frequently and have learned to take a red-eye when heading east, I take a Dramamine just to make me tired and get to sleep much of the trip. It helps!! Hope you guys enjoy the 50th! Thanks for bringing us along! :)

So happy to see you arrive on Florida soil to begin the 50th celebrations! I always wonder if fear of flying ever fully goes away. I am a bit of an anxious flyer, but I like the colouring book idea. I took a reading book when we flew in to California which worked well, but a colouring book would be a nice way to break things up. I also took a Disneyland guide to try and learn all I could before landing as it was our first time, however the book was not enough preparation! LOL It's funny how it suddenly makes perfect sense once you have been there in person. Theory never reflects reality! Have a wonderful time and congratulations on 80,000 subscribers, you deserve it! ❤

I just recently have struggles with anxiety on planes (which sucks because I’m a flight attendant) but learning to deal with it. I just wanted to say I love you both but for me when someone asks me about my anxiety while I’m the plane it triggers it. Watching this video was hard for every time Spencer would talk about Katie’s anxiety. Otherwise my daughter and I love you both!!!!

I love these kind of videos I love flying so it's fun to see the plane and your snacks and view outside the window I have only flew one time and I loved it but it was to short only 30 to 45 min there and back I would like to go on a long flight like this
