Firstly, even though I had seen your new hair on instagram it was a surprise at the start. But a nice surprise and as I commented on Instagram it does suit you. Great start to this series, even more so for my wife as your look around Rome brought back so many memories of a trip she took there with our daughter thirteen years ago. Serious looking hot chocolate, Simon’s Cannoli equally so, along with your parents ice cream. More great food to come on board in the coming weeks and lovely places to visit. Bring it on.
Loved it in Rome when we went in 2019, your hotel in Rome although different to the one we stayed at it's very similar we were close to the train station too. Great vlog as always thanks for taking us with you again
Hello, Claire. Wonderful video. My grandfather was born outside of Rome. I'm sure I have some relatives around somewhere but haven't researched. Aw thank you Susan! We always use hotels.com. We look on the map for the best situated hotel they have. The other great thing about using that site is that after 10 stays you get one free night!
Can you tell me what the luggage situation is like on the train? Is there plenty of room for it? We are going next month and I'm trying to decide on transportation.
Yes there was plenty of room for the luggage, on the airport train there was luggage racks but we just stood by ours and then the train to port there was a big section by the doors where everyone put their suitcases
