I'm going to show you my in-flight beauty routine for a long haul flight. You're going to survive it and look fabulous at the same time :) This is my mish-list of in-flight must have's that will leave you looking and feeling refreshed! People will think you came out of a spa, not a plane ;) Bon voyage! - Mish

Small tip: When I take long travels by train (it could work for planes as well) and I wanna take a nap without endning up looking silly, with my drool all over my seat, I just gently wrap my scarf around my mouth and nose (kinda like a ninja). This also helps me keep warm :) So if my jaw shoud drop, nobody can tell.

Some of you are just being so ridiculous. First, there is no green screen here-the lights on Virgin Airlines actually look like that. Second, she made this video as helpful hints for when you're flying on a plane. Many women wear no makeup on the plan (usually have to wake up VERY early to catch a flight) and do their makeup on the plane, so she's giving us tips. To those saying her 'audience' and 'viewers' are teen girls that don't fly-that's incorrect. Most of her viewers are girls who started watching her 4 years ago, who have grown up with her, like me (I'm now 21, and fly about four-five times a year). So everyone either appreciate the video, and buzz off.

Rachel I cant find the video :( . I did see one of her applying makeup in an airplane on another persons channel. But she was seated next to her buddies which kinda takes away from the struggles of riding coach lol (stopping to step out to let someone pee, them taking way more personal space than need be, trying not to wake someone taking a nap, etc. etc.)l. I've tried doing it before and gave up after 2 minutes haha. I don't bother with makeup for flights now, just focus on my skin and making the flight as comfortable and less strenuous as possible. If whoever is meeting me off the plane doesn't like my look they can kiss my economy butt! Haha jk XD she had a nice tut. I just didn't find it applicable to my own plane riding experiences :)

She and Virgin Airlines recently did a partnership of some kind. They were giving out EM cosmetics on some flights. So most likely they told her she could film a tutorial if she wanted to or she asked and they were more than happy to oblige.

Let's be honest, most of us just wear sweats and a hoodie, have our hair in a braid/messy bun, and are completly makeup free faced. And we could care less about putting on makeup or fixing our hair on the flight and would rather just go get some food and coffee looking like a tramp. Still great vid doe 😘.

because some people land and then don't get to check into a hotel right away, they may have meetings, or just land to early to check in so they prefer to look a little more presentable when they are wandering around town

I think Michelle has a lot of natural looks (if you check some of her older videos) and she has done a couple school makeup tutorials as well. Since you are only about 15 I think you should definitely stick to a more natural look (some concealer, light eyeliner, mascara, and blush for starters).Don't let anyone tell you that you're too young to wear makeup. 15 is the perfect age to start experimenting!!

You don't need to wear makeup but it's your choice:) Just watch her videos and use some of her tips. Remember to not overdo. I suggest that you start with only concealer, translucid powder and mascara:)

I'm assuming you're Swedish? :) I went to New York last fall and it was great. It's a very European city, so I think you'll feel very comfortable there (and be a bit shocked when you go to other American cities in the future). I highly recommend going to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Frick Collection. Those were my two favorite art collections. The MoMA was nice, too, but the other two just blew me away. I was a bit disappointed by the Guggenheim museum, though, but I guess you should go anyway and figure it out for yourself. :) Much love from a fellow European and have fun!

I usually travel from Europé to South America and it is at least 11 hours in one flight so people get as comfortable as they can ...I have see people take slippers or crocks, i simply take out my shoes, get comfortable presure socks, put on a Heavy face Cream and Always put on a Little make up before landing

I don't see problems with her promoting her products. She also introduced tons of other great products!! Plus, I am 38 and hv been following her videos for yrs. I always recommend her videos to friends of my age.

I was just in a plane for 9 hours. I can't imagine even considering doing this while on it while all I care about is getting comfortable in the damn chair and try to sleep. But I guess if you fly first class It isn't as awful, right? But oh well.

It depends on what you plan to do afterwards and how long is your flight. I fly over 16h quite often and the air really isn't clean inside planes. I always take with me cream, lip balm, something to clean my face (depends on what I have, I change often), a small towel, a small sponge and in the bathrrom you can wash yourself, your face, arms, armpits, everything you need. No make up though, I never make up even for meetings ..but is good to take care of yourself during flights if you can

Who uses hair cream during or after a flight?! Crazy. Sometimes when i get off the plane i do a simple make up to look a little bit more fresh. But undereye patches? Haircream? Winged eyeliner? Seriously?

I love that even though you use a lot of your own products, you don't say 'use em eyeliner' but describe the colour of the product so we can swap it out for what we own! Thank you for being aware that not everyone can afford your makeup line!:-)xxx
