This is a mini-vlog on taking the Trenitalia Frecciarossa 1000 to get from Rome's Roma Termini station to Florence's Firenze Santa Maria Novella station. How does this Italian high speed rail compare to the German and French high speed rail?

Good video but the Maximum speed of Frecciarossa 1000 is 360 km/h but for the italian infrastructure, the train can travel until 300 km/h
@Tetsuia68
@Tetsuia68 Год назад
400 km/h it is the maximun speed the train can have, 360km/m the speed the train is the commercial speed. 300km/h it is the maximun speed RFI allow to train in Italy to limit the consumption of rails and electrical cables

@@ourtravelsa With a little more detail, 300 km/h is the maximum cruise speed in normal conditions, but security devices won't auto-limit speed until 310 km/h. This allows to "push" a little more speed in certain cases, like when the train is running late, without compromising security.

Yes, you can. But, remember prices can go up at those stages. It is like a flight ticket.

@@ourtravelsa Thank you for your advice. One thing I notice, you did not mention to “validate tickets”, is it because you bought your tickets online?

@@elmadi7391 yes, that is correct. Because we booked our tickets online, it is not required. They do sight your ticket on the platform.

@@ourtravelsa Thank you so much for your reply. I appreciate for having the time for your viewers inquiries, I just subscribed 🙏 In case I missed my train say by 20 minutes, should I go to the ticketing office for another ticket issuance with no charge or I need to buy a new train ticket ?
@ourtravelsa
@ourtravelsa Год назад
@@elmadi7391 Thank you for the sub :), every one counts for us. Unfortunately, i dont think you can get a refund if you miss the train. Depending upon the fare that you booked, it might be possible to change your ticket in advance if you expect to be running late.
