Subic Bay remains as the top tourism magnet in Central Luzon. Once a naval port in the Spanish Period, a training camp in the American Period, and a base for battleships and American soldiers in the 90s, this coastal district offers rich excursions that merge both history and ecotourism adventures that are easily accessible from the Philippine capital of Manila.
For beach bums, there are plenty of white beaches and protected reefs to discover. Fishing charters, as well as dives in well-preserved WWII wrecks are offered. Jetski, banana boat, and other extreme water sports may also be enjoyed, as well as scenic sunset cruises aboard private yachts.
Thematic destinations, including retreat resorts and eco adventure parks offering tiger safaris and performances by the indigenous Aeta, are must-try activitiis here.
Don't forgets shopping malls and duty-free shops where you can buy souvenirs and other local items.
Most end their day with a stroll along the boardwalk, a drink in a pub, or simply resting in one of many waterfront accommodations in the area, ranging from luxurious water villas to family-friendly resorts.
Discover all of these and where to go inSubic Bay as our travel guide, "Revisiting the Wonders of Subic Bay", premieres now on Facebook and on RU-vid!
