Campuestohan Highland Resort is one the most famous and top tourist destinations in the Philippines. Many of you may have thought this is in Bacolod City but the exact address is Sitio Campuestohan, Barangay Cabatangan, Talisay City, Negros Occidental. Travel time from Bacolod City to Campuestohan is one hour or less.

This guide is how to go to Campuestohan from Cebu via Toledo City. If you arrived in Bacolod City by air, please see step number 8.
1.Go to Cebu City South Bus Terminal
2.Ride a bus bound for Toledo City. Travel time is 2 hours or less. If you want to ride a van, go to Toledo Van Terminal in Junquera St, somewhere near University of San Carlos.
3.Disembark at the corner heading Toledo Port (the one with McDonald's). If you opted to ride a van, disembark at the van terminal in Toledo at Toledo Port.
4.Walk your way towards the terminal and buy a ticket bound for San Carlos City. Lite Shipping will take you 2 hours and fast craft will take you 1 hour.
5.Once you arrived in San Carlos City Port, ride a tricycle or trisikad to bring you to Ceres Terminal.
6.At the Ceres Terminal, ride a bus bound for Bacolod City via Don Salvador (only 2.5 hours). Alternatively, you can ride a direct bus bound for Bacolod City at Cebu City South Bus Terminal. Fare is above P500, so prepare P600. If you choose the direct bus, you can disembark once you are in the boat. I think Ceres buses use Lite Shipping, so travel time from Toledo Port to San Carlos City Port is one hour longer, a total of 2 hours.
9.Disembark at Bacolod Ceres Terminal at Lopez Jaena St.
If you have booked an overnight stay in Campuestohan in advance, go to i-Mart Convenience Store and catch a ride bound to the resort (see above) or may charter a taxi or tricycle to bring you to the resort. Travel time from the terminal to the resort is one hour or less. If you have not booked a room in Campuestohan, stay for a night in Bacolod City, if possible near i-Mart Convenience Store or closer to the pickup and drop off points for Campuestohan but if you stay somewhere near the city center like I did, stay at Nirvana Pension House, it's very inexpensive and is very near Ceres Terminal. As early as 6:00am the following day, you may start your tour in Bacolod City then charter a taxi or tricycle to bring you to i-Mart Convenience Store for the Campuestohan Shuttle or if you want to do it your own and tour Campuestohan and The Ruins like I did, you may charter a taxi or tricycle to bring you to both attractions. If you are a solo traveler, prepare to shell out P800 to P1000 for the tour. Please do tip generously, it may be the only chance you had to help that person. If you are a large group, you may arrange it with your hotel or pension house. Nirvana has a group tour for Campuestohan.
10.If you intend to bring your private vehicle with you from Cebu, know that there is a corresponding fee for the cargo. Rates may vary but I think it'll be about P1500 (more or less).
