Introducing my latest build in the HYTE Revolt 3!
For this build I really wanted to aim for a minimalist, yet very capable silent editing pc, with light gaming in mind too! Needless to say, the combination of the Revolt 3's incredible airflow combined with the select Noctua components kept this build silent, with plenty of moving air to prevent overheating under heavy load. Sure, I could’ve easily added an AIO, but having seen this done extensively with the Revolt 3, I decided to try something a little different with the air cooling setup.
Near the end of the build sequence you will notice that I had the mic practically touching the PC to get an audio file of the sound. It was almost impossible to hear it! Hats off as always to the guys at Noctua for producing such incredibly quiet fans!
With this being my first build in the Revolt 3, you bet that I'm excited about the idea of custom loop water cooling this later down the lines too!

Love the video, great production and music selection, I was already planning the build and you used most of the parts I was already planning on buying. Interestingly enough I was planning on a SFF water cooled but after seeing the acoustics portion of your build I changed my mind and saved a bunch of money as sound levels were a primary focus in my build. Switched the Noctua 140s and the Noctua NF-A14 PWM out for the Chromax.black versions just for my aesthetics. Just wanted to say thank you for the great video, watched it like 4 times getting all pumped for my new build, mostly because I liked the music :D

Okay future tip for video production. Dont have a sound test where viewers need to turn up their sound to hear and then blast some loud music at the end of it.

I'm sure most people hate the guy for it, and for understandable reason; I just thought it was funny.

I built my first PC with this case in August. I used the Noctua NH-C14s for the CPU cooler. Probably one of the biggest coolers you can fit in the HYTE Revolt 3. It's doing great so far. Anyways, this video is awesome.
@SomeoneElseInTheComments
@SomeoneElseInTheComments Год назад
How did you fit it? I'm currently building mine with that exact setup and if I orient the heat pipe end toward the GPU, the radiator sticks out of the case. If I orient the heat pipes away from the GPU, the radiator sticks out to where my GPU won't fit. I haven't tried either of the other directions as I'm pretty sure those directions won't fit either.
@ArdyneusTheGod
@ArdyneusTheGod Год назад
@@SomeoneElseInTheComments You can rotate the heatpipes towards or away from the ram. I recommend the heatpipes facing the RAM. This is because the cooler is not centered, so other orientations will cause size problems. I didn’t mention that I placed the fan on top, because the total height of the cooler is exactly the max height for the HYTE Revolt 3. Based on your comment, it seems you may be using a Intel cpu, which has the ability to be mounted in all four 90° directions. AMD mounting only allows two orientations, which are 180° of each other. If you still don’t understand, I recommend watching my PC build video on my channel. Just make sure to mount the NH-C14s in the opposite way that’s shown in the video. I later realized it was just slightly too wide for the back panel to close fully.

@ArdyneusTheGod
@ArdyneusTheGod Год назад
@@Noodlepunk Yeah, I think the HYTE Revolt 3 would be great for travel. That’s what it was meant to do. Since it has a handle and can support more than the Phanteks evolv shift 2 air, It’s a great option.

Hello, amazing video production and great build showcase, congrats. Quick question, I'm about do a build on this case and all the other research I've done points me toward radiator liquid coolers instead of air like the Noctua you use here, so I'm a little concerned about it and I wanted to ask your opinion on it.
