This video was shot in Oman in December 2021 and in Dubai in January 2022. This is about my Two different experiences with the Travel Insurance provider Tata AIG. The first part is about the experience I had when I was hospitalised in an emergency situation. The other was when one of my flights got cancelled and due to it I missed my other connecting/onward flight.

I travel a lot as well but never needed to claim any insurrance so far, fortunately.. purchased Tata AIG many times as well.. Thanks for informing us about this particular insurance. 👍🏻will be avoiding Tata AIG from now.

Same with us we have been purchasing Tata AIG for foreign travel for decades and didn’t ever claim with the grace of god but claimed for the first time due to accident of my relative and found them cheats. Forget about cashless they refuse your claim for reimbursement for one reason or other. Never ever will purchase TataAIG travel insurance. Nobody till top even replies. Never thought a Tata company can do such a criminal activity with all.

oh God.. itna kuch hua is dauran, idea bhi nahi tha bro.. itna dard plus ticket reschedule. Matlab Farhat bhai and his friend was no less than an Angel. It's so hurtful to see you like this. It must have been very though. We can't even imagine the stress you went through that day! The insurance companies are supposed to help! They should be alart 24/7 for their customers! Getting this kind of services and behaviour is really horrible! we could sense your disappointmet! 🥺 This pandemic has changed all our lifestyle and way of living... but I think the travellers are facing most of the hurdles and problems. I will try to share your video with competent authority. Matlab, ham lok insurance ke varose jate, agar yeh experience rahega, then, it's totally waste to purchase insurance. Varun Ji, I hope, Tata AIG will contact you shortly. Tata AIG, tweeted me to know details and I told them, to contact with you. You can file complaint against Insurance company at IRDA and Consumer Court. Aap ke sath jo hua, it's really bad, pathetic & yeh kisi ke sath bhi ho sakta hai.

When I was searching for insurance, I found out that all the insurance companies had bad reviews. So i Just bought insurance of government companies. That is new India assurance. I never had to claim so can’t really comment on the experience. But I had claimed on my personal policy in India and it was a good experience specially if TPA is empanelled.

Varun sir always buy travel insurance from the country we travel. Insurance companies in india (for travel insurance) never give cashless travel policy. We need to provide them bills of our treatment. I bought religare insurance for my europe trip but I asked them before my trip is this policy cashless they said the same thing to me. I got their point so I cancelled my insurance and bought other from Europe only

Insurance claims are many times tricky and time consuming, not to forget the tension of what will be approved and what not.. Irrespective of medical or travel or others. While domestic itself are in such condition, international insurances are more difficult (while they should be as important and serviced as domestic). Do let us know what you did finally regarding flight rescheduling.

Same here I had tata aig car insurance, man.. my battery had fully discharged. There helpline was not reachable when it mattered most.. I had previously used bajaj Allianz which for me had worked well. So promptly went back to them after tata aig expired

My late father was given a run round with another life insurance third party insurance of not clearing the payments of pnumeothorax surgery I had undergone some years ago...end result dad ended up in hospital and I was his attendant ...we ended up paying cash to the hospital and then filing a refund from that insurance company

traval insurance are useless they aprove only when u die on traval money to family ..outside india both hospital and other country insurance company dont trust each other some country ttake insurance seriously some not. for general hospitalization mostly they aprove on accident also not more then that... traval insurance in reality for get visa procedure nothing else

Didn't know that Tata AIG will do such irresponsibility things. As much as I know when you apply for insurance in any field like health, travel, life insurance etc they will convince in such a nice way N make u believe that they ll be always there to cover ur loss. But when it comes at the time of need they start to avoid u like incident happened with u Sire. Feeling so bad that u have to go through such situation. Another reason is This Pandemic has made recent scenario unpredictable. Changing of guidelines, rescheduling and cancellation of flights causing lots more trouble to passengers 😞 What u r doing can't be express in words. Many people have had the similar experience with Tata AIG. In fact most of the travel insurances always have these kind of issues. They are basically a scam. Hardly ever they pay for any claims. One has to be very vigilant while choosing a travel insurance plan.

Not really. I was okay with National Insurance Co (Govt Co). It's difficult to get their insurance but once admitted they keep their promise. I was paid twice for my father, once cashless and once reimbursement.

I can vouch for this comment, the insurance purchase is purely for ones own peace of mind..And secondly to show it to immigration upon arrival that you have coverage....Other than that, these insurances are scam...Unless you purchase it from the country you are traveling in...For e.g. I purchased insurance from a provider in USA....

@@BKCC420 I totally agree. It is always a good idea to buy the insurance from the county one is travelling to. It gives a better idea of the health coverage and also networks/providers that are included in it.

Varun Bhai, All the companies have got same policy for claims. They got third parties outside India which u need to contact. It's advisable that always check the details like how to claim, which hospitals are included etc before departure from India from your insurance company... Third parties never give such information upfront coz they are there to collect your documents and send to your insurance company for claims, they do mention about cashless claims but it's not easy to get them, one very common condition to get that claim is hospitalization for 24-48 hrs..

To be honest, travelling at this time of Covid is anyways troublesome. If you decide to travel during such time, there will issues related to medical treatments, random requirements of covid tests, missed flights, canceled flights etc. You took this risk by travelling so no point of complaining about Dubai's rule of getting covid test done from specific hospitals

Most people commenting have no idea how international travel insurance works that includes Varun. Insurance companies world wide are difficult to deal with when making a claim. Still you have some hope of recovering your money with travel insurance otherwise you can sit and cry all you want about your loss. Had you done your homework you would have asked the right questions before purchasing travel insurance. TATA AIG is better then majority of other companies. AIG is the world's largest insurance company. See what kind of bills you end up paying in Europe or any other country without insurance. Insurance policy have so many terms and conditions, 9 out of 10 people never bother to read them or understand them. Then when they have a emergency they want to blame everyone except themselves. Also buying three separate flights as you did to save money came back to bite you. No airline or travel insurance company will help you. Sometime being over smart is not so smart. Take it from someone who has traveled to 97 countries.

Varun, my frank opinion about insurance is except life insurance medical/health insurance is bull shit as you have to beg for your own hard earned money. I am strong opponent of health/medical insurance. Really felt bad about what happened with you varun. Varun bhai Namaskar 🙏🏻 Aap ke jaisa travel enthusiast maine kabhi nahi dekha , aap ko salam karta hun ki aap na kuchh khud bhi ghoomte hai aur apne videos ke madhyam se hum jaise logo ko duniya ki Sair karate hain . Maine aapke anginat videos dekhe hain ya ki yun kahiye ki apka bahut bada fan hun . I had a very bad experience with Tata AIG while travelling to Singapore 🇸🇬 And I don’t know why they sell such insurance plan when they can’t keep their commitments at the time of travellers are suffering in different countries. So never use Tata AIG insurance plan ❌❌❌❌❌

Fortis is good because AIIMS still exists.. This is what happens when public sector is being suffocated by the government it self. These private sector companies have no incentives to provide u with good service, if there is no benchmark set by public sector .... Most of these buisness are monopoly or duopoly, these companies strategically coordinator with each other, so non of them have to provide you with good service.. They know that you don't have any other choice and at the end of the day you will end up paying them for below par services... These companies through their sponsored media have successfully propagated their propaganda that every government institution is corrupt... Through memes by their sponsored social media pages and many other means made us believe that disinvestment by the government is a good idea ..

The compitition is so tight that the difference in cut-off of UR compared to EWS/OBC/SC/ST is negligible. The difference is of luck, a person scoring 55% compared to a person scoring 58% are of comparable ability, the difference is who is having a better day on the day of exam ... The difference in cut-off is compensated by their ability to rise above the compitition through this casteist society.

Bhai, you should always take insurance from your agent/advisor. I have my personal experience with TATA AIG and my claim got settled and even my colleague's claims got settled without any such experience like you. For any insurance companies third party claims process are common but all insurance companies appoints licensed agents to help their customers at the time of claim or services and they don't charge even a single rupee from your pocket. Your pain is true but you should also know how to make things easy. I support TATA Brand and TATA Group companies 👍

See Varun same company AIG in US is premier insurance and always helps. And when they go to India and tie up with TATA they give worst service because they know people in India are not capatalist and won't demand good service. Isn't it surprising same company different quality of service

For your lower back relief, just few tips... Avoid filming in awkward positions while sitting in Car Or walking on bad roads... Since you are constantly holding your camera for so many days, it is affecting your lower back. Sit tightly pushing your back but comfortably on the seat of cars, take help of legs to be firmly seated on bad roads. Don't sit loosely. Use LS Belt if possible. Apply pain relief ointments. Lesson learned I guess. I watch your video every once in a while and here is what I feel (honest criticism) that you buckle down on your deliverance while going through challenges. Dear Varun , I must say you should read the fine print of insurance before buying. None of the travel insurance company from India provide cashless over international destination. They expect you to pay and reimburse. The only best option to buy insurance is buying for the host country which provides cashless but again these are expensive.

Varunbhai, insurance companies everywhere are notorious to deal with. While generally not as bad (my experience) here in USA, we have our own problems and challenges. Worst of them all are the travel insurance types. They make it sound so wonderful when selling their policy, but real test is when it comes time for them to cover you. Clearly they failed in your case. Hope you are feeling better now.

Do not expect for Cashless Billing from the Foreign hospital who do not have any agreements or tie-ups. Only option is to pay the bill and claim later. Many Insurance within the same country itself are not cashless so no point in keeping such level of expectations from an Insurance company.

I don't think any travel insurance will cover your expenses at the spot; you have to pay it up front and then file a reimbursement claim for it. Travel insurance is not as exact as health insurance, where you designated health care system.

Even I had issues with ICICI Lombard, very pathetic experience, finally they didn't provide me any compensation for cancelled/rescheduled flight. I am extremely disappointed. I had a long discussion but they have there illogical base to not compensate.

Travel insurance is for life or death emergency situations. You need international medical insurance for a back problem not travel insurance. You need to understand travel insurance is priced so low just to cover critical emergencies. Expecting a insurance company to pre authorise your hospital treatment is laughable otherwise travel insurance would be 10 times the cost. I am not having a dig but you need to understand what your covered for when you take out these policies.

Bhai kamar par Lagane Wali supporter belts lagalo, it really works. Bike se fisal gaya tha, Mujhe bahut dikkat hui thi, doctor ne 1 hafte injection lagwane ke liye Kaha tha, fir disc slip ka operation, Maine 1 din lagaya, chupchap Jakar belt leaaya 15 din lagai bahut aaram hua. 2 din breathe karne me bhi dikkat hui thi Mujhe. Physiotherapy wale ne meri meri neck kheechi thi 3baar. Ab disc slip bhi nahi hai.

You can complain to IRDAI ( Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) and share your experience and suggest to IRDAI. Authority may do something so in future such problem will not be face by other traveller.

Varun, as per my knowledge and experience, all insurance company ask you to pay and then claim, i know it is game but that what they do, 2ndly if you have 3 separate pnr and you have but your insurance at the time of booking yr flight that means they knows what you have booked and they must pay you your loss, My friend in India is phd in insurance claim, if you want me to send you his phone no just send me whats up in my phone and I will send you his detail
