A few things he did not mention. To use the transport function a real name verification is requires. A passport scan which every time i get the message that its blur and has reflection and so the authentication fails. Then a photo of your face is required to match the passport picture - facial recognition and this is another nightmare. tried so many times and failed

If you are travelling between cities in China, do you need a Chinese mobile number to access the various metro cards in AliPay?

Alipay does take 3% transaction fees on purchases exceeding 200 RMB. Does this apply to non-Chinese cards or are all cards subject to this charge?

You didn't mention users have to allow the App SCAN their faces first, otherwise it won't work.
