I love lists! I'll make lists for people even when I'm not going on the trip. Lol my parents got use to it and knew I always had lists for them when they went out of town. Lol p.s you're brave for bringing a noisy toy,the book, on a road trip! 😂 P.p.s Gigi had me dying with her answers. 😂

Truly the best tip I ever got for allergies is to eat a spoonful of local honey everyday! It does need to be local to where you live for it to work but it works amazingly well!!

Literally the best investment is the car camera for the baby. We bought one made specifically for the car then when it broke we bought just a simple normal cheap on since our car has a plug in the back seat and it works just as great!

The backseat camera is the best! We have the same/similar one, and it really helps on long drives! We do five hour drives twice per month, so this camera is such a big help!

Your video brings back such vivid memories of navigating life after going from one to two children. I was nursing as well, and just felt so sleep deprived and zombie-like. You’re doing a great job - don’t worry about the mess and clutter. You will have time to clean later. My second ‘baby’ is about to go off to college and it feels like the years have just flown by. You might just need a new belt for your dryer! Mine was squealing a lot and it turned out to just need a new belt. Pretty cheap fix even with labor.

I think so too. My Samsung started squealing after only a year and it was under warranty so it was fixed. But then it started again about a year after that. We sold it with our house and decided no more Samsungs lol.

I heard you're suppose to start taking allergy medication about 2 weeks before it begins bc it takes a few weeks to kick in fully. Have a great trip!

One thing that can help for irritated eyes during allergy season is a reusable gel eye pack that goes in the fridge/freezer. I find the cold is so soothing when my eyes are itchy and inflamed

Exactly what I'm going through!! Mine cluster feeds constantly literally aaaaallll day non stop! Its been like this for me since around week 3/4. She will wake around 9/10am and sleep around midnight. Don't worry this is my 4th, it's difficult and different each time but in the long run breastfeeding is the best! It gets so easy eventually. Don't stress just enjoy her whilst she's so cute and small and cuddley

jess! Contigo has a straw cup that has a seal inside the straw and is leak proof! my sister discovered it and loved it for nursing on the couch or anywhere there wasn’t a table close enough. i got one and love it so much

I've traveled from CA to TX with a 6 y/o, 2 y/o, and infant twins. Packing list is a must. Even now with teenagers I send them a packing list. And one for myself too. We just finished up Phoenix Fan Fusion (comic convention) with a trip to Six Flags next weekend with our Girl Scout Troop and camping at the end of June.

Lists are the way to go! I have lists for different events like camping, flying, road-trips lol etc. Also we got to finally go to Mackinaw Island last year and it was beautiful! Can’t wait for the vlogs! Were moving to Michigan at the end of the year so we’ll probably go often.

When my girls were littles (my oldest just graduated high school today) McDonald’s pancakes saved many dinners when we traveled. They make them all times of the day and I just put a little butter on them, cut them into quarters, and they chowed down. No syrup was ever requested .

Such an enjoyable vlog! I’ll make some small list before a trip of oh I don’t want to forget this. This was so helpful to give me some ideas. I’m getting ready to start 6 weeks of radiation. I live to far to drive back and forth every day. Will only be coming home on the weekends. I am way more detailed packing for items and also easy solutions bags that I won’t have to unpack each weekend, like my makeup and hygiene products. I got all my samples and travel size items in a container that my hope is, will be super easy to swap out or add in new cleansers ( or whatever item) as I’m using them up. I’m assuming by the weekends I’ll be over all it and want easy simple solutions. I also packed a 31 utility tote to use as a laundry bag to keep the hotel room cleaner, but also just for that one bag to have laundry I need done. Not having to tear apart everyone’s suitcase when I get home. I’m sure by the end of the 6 weeks I’ll have this packing down to a science. Will know what is a waste of time or really helpful.

I love this perspective! Lol your burp cloths! My babies all had such tummy issues that we resorted to using receiving blankets for that;. Several a day sometimes. My youngest nurses every two hours at night for two years. Like clockwork. When my body finally gave out it was so traumatizing for both of us. Ahhh, those were the days... 😊 Enjoy your trip and travel safely!!

Future Video Idea: Go over some of the easy to use, hard to mess up products like when you say, “I can go ham with it”…when you use that phrase my ears perk up because I love love love mess up proof products that are fun to use and I don’t have to worry about having to go slow…I can just enjoy the product. Instead of folding the burl cloths, roll them. You will get more space in your bag. Maybe even use a ziploc bag to put them in, plus if it’s soiled, it can be stored there.
