I absolutely love the organization!! With the hot water on the airplane issue (I have heard that too.), I bring an empty Contigo thermos through security, then ask one of the airport restaurants to fill it up with hot water for me. It is 32 oz, so that gives me enough for a cup each of green tea, coffee, and miso soup during my flight. I also carry a Sea to Summit collapsible heat-proof mug to put the tea bag/drink mix and hot water in.

I can't resist new pouches and toiletry bags! I have an unused hanging one with three sections, I'm going to pack it like this! I plan on taking a bento box of snacks, a Thermos to have filled with hot water at a coffee shop, a flat refillable water bottle 🍶 for cold water, a travel wallet and a tech bag !

How would you get all those liquid items pass TSA? Did you put them in a separate bag and then transfer over to this kit when you get to your gate? Wouldn’t you also worry about medications expiring if you don’t put the expiration date?

I literally searched: "what's in my "comfort bag "and this is the only video I saw that said comfort… I'm trying to put one together right now I thought about it a couple days ago based off of my mom in the 90s and we used to roll our eyes we thought a comfort bag was so cheesy... but you know what I'm older now, I think it's awesome and this is also a different time the 90s and 2000s were really rough and hard and this is a different time and I'm so grateful for it!!! I too am a kit queen and so I'm super excited to catch up on all your contact. Thanks so much for sharing.💟☮️

Welcome or welcome back to Colorado! Glad you are visiting here. I have always loved all of your travel organizational videos even though we haven’t traveled anywhere for 2 years smh. I didn’t grow up thinking of such organizational things and I would like to make my mom and stepdad something like this. They are about to go visit the overseas so it will be many hours in a plane. Lorna you are the queen 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. This was a fantastic idea… my family and I are finally planning our first trip since 2019 and I can’t wait to get into that plane and feel ready to celebrate life, health, family, friends. Some things I include in my kits are: gum, mini toothbrushes, Johnson & Johnson head to toe cleansing cloths, and a cool sticky pad in case my kids get fever (l also have medication for that). A sudoku book keeps me busy as well.

I’ve got on every single time no problems. The liquids are mostly in the top zipper portion which is the size of a Ziploc bag. Everything is 3 ounces or less. The only thing that I could move to the top is the bathroom spray but everything else there is no liquid. 😊

I just traveled 2 weeks ago and you can bring these items . As far as liquid goes it has to be 4oz or less.

I just put it on the conveyor belt they scan it and let me right on through every time. I’ve used it multiple times now in the airport.

So I am making this kit right now but how do you get all your liquids through security when it's in this bag? Do you put it in something else and then transfer it once you are through security? Or do you just pack it all in here an hope for the best?
