Wonderful to see the old Southern Aurora still running on different routes from its previous Sydney -Melbourne-Sydney routes. I used to catch it between Sydney-Melboure-Sydney in the late 1970s/earjy 1980s. Those were the days! Nothing as good has replaced it.
Most enjoyable Greg, and I learned a few things during your trip. Pity you didn't stop off at Lithgow, one of NSW's true railway towns rich in history. Thanks for sharing your journey.
