My mom can pack *1 week* of clothes for 4 people in a *small* carryon. How, i have no idea. #mompower or sth like that i guess :P Edit: I asked my mom how she does it! Here are her tips! - *DO NOT* bring unnecessary clothing! - Check how the weather is going to be. - Lighter clothing (thin fabrics = less space usage) - Bring clothes that can be used together, for example: 2 shirts that fits with 4 different pairs of pants/skirts/shorts. - If you can, *put your clothes in a bag (we use plastic bags) and vacume seal the bag!* - Travel in shoes that are comfortable yet can be used with the outfits that you packed!! Those are some of the tips that my mom told me!! Packing takes time and if you want to fit as much as possible you're probably going to take out and put in clothes a lot. It's a process, but it's worth it in the end when you come to your destination and have all your clothes organized!!
Jenny._.Wolf ikr my mom always packs everyone’s clothes in one carryon and there’s me packing 3628728227 clothes that I don’t need in a medium suitcase 💀
Im not an overpacker but having only 6 tops and 1 dress aint enough for 14days of sightseeing and 14nights of clubbing. Come on, if she pack like that her clothes must be smelly af at the end of the trip😂
@@ChasingOsang I took 1 sweater, 4 shirts, 2 pairs of shorts, 2 skirts, and one set of pajamas for 2 weeks of sightseeing in Italy and never had to wear smelly clothes. Sniff-test the shirt underarms at the end of each night - if smelly, wash before wearing again. Wash underwear every night or every other night. Problem solved. I had the smallest suitcase - by far - and it never exploded... unlike the big (and stuffed!) suitcases of the other 7 girls in my group, and that was years before I ever started using packing cubes (which are now my friend). Yes, it's possible.
Christine Boone It's been 5 years since last time I traveled to my country. But I'm traveling to my husband country in December and I'm addicted to packing videos. Especially with this square bags that really didn't exist 5 years ago or I didn't discover them at that time lol.
I don't know why but I love packing before I travel. It's only the unpacking that sucks because the trip is over. Also I loved the make up drawstring bag so I bought it on eBay!
I think it's interesting how different "packing light" looks for different people. For some this would be considered a lot of stuff, others might find it not enough. But still quality content and good tipps for organizing things either person can adapt 👍
I was just thinking the same thing. For me, for example, this is way too much stuff.. especially the make up stuff. BUT, I take my 14" laptop everywhere, which I put on the bottom of the flat side of a carry on (inside a very thin and soft case).
Thank you Ann Le! This video is very helpful. I have been on the road over the past 21 years, working in different countries. One thing you can also pack is an umbrella, definitely comes in handy in case the weather changes and it starts to rain. Overall, a very useful video with very good tips.
i really enjoyed watching this instead of actually packing my stuff which will lead to me frantically stuffing everything in my bag an hour before i leave
I took a Greyhound Bus from southern CA to phenix , then switch Bus to flagstaff , Aprox 13 journey, cost around $250 round trip. I visited Grand canyon For 3 days , 1 day to see Antelope canyon. This trip Crossed 2 of my bucket list, and it didn't cost me a fortune . With a little planning , u Can travel. Then Once a year , I Do my international travel by flight to Europe , Asia , north Africa 😊
I love this. Especially how you put everything in a bag and that just makes it more organized Whenever I’m traveling, my suitcase is my closet, so this will keep me so much more organized and make me feel better about picking my outfit when I arrive
When I have to pack to go on a trip I always start making a list of things to pack about a week before I go. That way, as I am remembering things to pack, I will write them down. On the list I also separate each section of things to bring as in clothes, bathroom supplies, emergency, makeup, purse and electronics. I usually bring a suitcase for clothes and shoes, also fitting in the bathroom bag (if it can fit). Then whatever is in my purse, my make up bag and my chromebook bag. I always keep extra plastic bags and zip lock bags for certain items that can leak (oils and lotions), as well as bags for dirty clothes and to keep my shoes in. Finally I make a list of things to do right before leaving, which for me is to feed my pets, water my plants and make sure everything is turned off (I also unplug certain electronics because I am terrified of house fires)(Knew several people who's microwaves caused fires and I refuse to go through that). After I check everything multiple times, I lastly pack a cooler of snacks and drinks, depending on how far the ride is. I have a trip coming soon that is a 4 hour car ride and I am setting up everything a week early.
Thank you soooo much for this vid. I usually don’t do comments like this, trust me. This vid was so amazing and helpful. You just got a new subscriber. Unlike a lot of other vids, you were straightforward but not too formal and this method can be adjusted to what packing materials you have. You should have WAAAAAY more subscribers.
It's really helpful to pack light cause you will ALWAYS bring more stuff when you travel back. Thanks for the tips Ann! If only I had this 5 months ago, cause my family ended up having to check-in all the carry on luggage since we had too much stuff 😅
Honestly I love watching travelling videos even though I might not be travelling (more often when travelling) I love yours it is so organised and I watch it loads of times!♥️💙❤️💜
@@StudioAnnLe Hello!! Can you please tell me the names of the things you stored all your clothes and all? Because In my country we don’t have Amazon. ❤️❤️
I will definitely use the advice from this video I'm headed to Ireland next month, and when I went last year nothing was organized and I was stressed out about it. My clothes would just be throw about on the top of my suitcase while traveling. Now I can have everything organized! Thanks so much for this video.
I like to pack my shoes in shower caps to keep them from dirtying up my clothes and the elastic on the cap stops it from falling of the shoe. Also, I like to pack my knickers in a ziplock bag and press all of the air out (usually by sitting on it) saves having underwear spread throughout my case lol
Me: *sees this vid* Oh I'll try this! Me: Finds all bags and everything. Me: I'll rest for a couple minutes Me:sleeps through night me:*in morning* OH SHOOT*throws everything in bag and doesn't shut it all the way* (true story)
This is so helpful! Another tip I learned when traveling, is to put all liquids (max of 1oz? Check with your airline) and creams in a sandwich zip lock or the 1gal bag. Some airlines require this for safety reasons.
tysm! I always am so disorganized on trips. I purchased these items and they are arriving on friday. I’m leaving on saturday so I’ll have a evening to pack lol! this video will save me time and from forgetting something. I’ve watched about 100 packing videos but this is the best yet! I recently discovered your channel! amazing content! 🌸💖 def subbing!

I’m going on holidays in 5 months and watching RU-vid packing videos are great and are just fun to watch because they are so informative and make me excited to pack !
I have just bought some packing cubes for my holiday to Cuba in August, so I had a practice run the other day, it's amazing how much can be fitted into these little cubes. I rolled up actual outfits I would wear, then I can just pick them up without disturbing the other clothes, awesome!! Thanks for the video.
Great video Ann! I've been using packing cubes for a while and they awesome, you can fit everything and anything in them. Really useful! Just gotta remember to roll and not fold! x
I am traveling soon to Morocco and thanks to this video I bought some handy packing cubes and less confusing now. Thank you so much! A BIG THUMBS UP!!!!
I'm not very sure but I saw a video the other day and it said that you aren't allowed bring bug spray , they'd take it away through security unless , but that's only for the carry on , again I'm not very sure ....
lol I know you didn't comment this right now, But I'm going to Florida on Wednesday the 23 (I think its the 23) but I'm using this video for the same thing!
You really saved me from the mess that gets created with the things in my suitcase .It's one of the best videos ever n now I know how manage things tidely.
LIFES HACK IM PRETTY SURE I INVENTED: 1. Pre-organise your outits (pants, underwear, shirt, socks or dress, tights, underwear) and roll them up so you can just pick a roll and wear whatever you picked out 2. Roll up certain types of clothes together, e.g: tshirts together, skirts together, pants together, etc. hope you find these useful😊
I'm actually going to Arizona in march for spring break and I put in an order for the travel cubes on amazon and the good thing is that they are not that expensive this video helped me a lot
I travel all the time. I have the hardest time packing well. I always overpack and my suitcase becomes messy in the middle of the trip. I’ve been watching tons of travel videos and nothing has really fit for me. This one made so much sense. I just ordered the packing cubes you recommended and I’m super excited to finally have a neat, non-overpacked, organized suitcase. Thanks so much!
I wish I could pack light but I'm going on a month or longer trip. What a dilemma! I have no problem with a week trip packing. When it comes to longer trip, I feel like I have to pack more. ☹️
You can take enough clothes for 2 weeks and find a laundrette to wash all your clothes in the middle of your trip! Saves all that money for extra luggage!!!
i normally only travel to the same place for the weekend so its pretty easy to pack, but i made a last minute trip to montreal for 7days and this video is just what i needed. I need to learn how to pack everything i need in a small carry on! love the video!
For me it was breakthrough when i moved from packing cubes/ pouches, etc. to Ziploc-type transparent plastic bags in different sizes. OMG, it's so easy to find things, esp. for my children.
Wow, that's a ton of stuff for,a video that says "pack light". I only take carryon. It's so much easier to hop on and off trains and buses and carry up narrow staircases in a Europe, and skip the wait at the luggage carousel.
Packing cubes are incredible! I ordered some before moving abroad last year and they literally saved my life, couldn't imagine traveling without them anymore! I don't have any of those waterproof shoe bags though, they seem really useful, might order some of those as well now:)
I like the video soo much thank you for the advices! Also I would like to add the fact that there are also compression cubes which can be used to fit more stuff when needed. An other tip to travel light to to have some clothes with antibacterial properties like wool because these clothes can be worn more than once and still remain hygienic.
To be fair, you can spend less than $50 in Thailand for a month to get pretty much everything you need (e.g new clothings, food, essentials etc - quality is questionable but that doesn't matter).
Love the suitcase bags! I returned from a 2 week vacay on a luxury resort followed by a cruise. By the time of the cruise, I left most of my stuff in the suitcase and wished I had sections to keep it tidy. I discovered my jewellery could of been just earrings and bracelets and I could of lived on one gorgeous bright lipstick! Add a good eye pencil, a pair of great eyelashes, good skin products and the Caribbean awaits!
This is not a carry on case though, that large cream and those scissors will never get passed security, so why worry about packing light when you are checking in your bag?
Thrifty Shades of Greene Each time you put a period down you have to put a space. Also, after a period you have to use an Uppercase letter. Also it's not really that unrealistic and you can still use this video for ideas on how to pack a carry on. You also forgot the period at the end.
This is the most realistic and useful video in my entire life! I am 100 % subscribed to this. THANK YOU SO MCUH! I am about to pack just now before my trip and I know what I exactly need after watching this video :)
This is one of the best travel / packing videos I’ve viewed so far- one idea- in case someone has to pack medications- get a medication organizer, place that in your carry on. If flying via air, you might want to bring a toothbrush in your carry on. Great video!
This is actually a great video to watch when packing for a trip. Although we recommend that if you do decide to get packing cubes, choose ones with a see-through waterproof mesh and not a regular mesh bag. This will help keep any foul smelling clothes from ruining any of your clean clothes.
