Travel Vlog! | California to ALASKA! | First Apartment with my Boyfriend, New Beginnings!

Stay positive about grandma, make it a point to visit at least once a year. Make a savings jar just for grandma trips, put $10-20 a week in the jar to pay for the trip and when u have enough go. Repeat that every year and you can do it, you just need to decide in your mind that’s what you want to do and just do it. Good luck guys🙏💕

I live in Lemoore CA about 30 miles south of Fresno. We’re a retired Air Force family and lived in Anchorage for a few years. California is horrible. Be happy you’re both going to live in Alaska. Tell James to give it time…he’ll love it❤️

I'll admit I was born, raised & lived in So Cal until 2 years ago when we moved up here to AK (I'm about 18 years older than your mom). I love it up here, the weather is definitely different 😂. Don't miss those Santa Ana winds at all, 4 feet of snow is so much nicer. You & James will have a great time up here. I'm glad there is a Jersey Mike's opening this week in the valley, otherwise I would have been so jealous..I haven't had a "13 in a tub, Mike's way, w/ extra juice" in over 2 years (sure hope that's still an option). Great video, thanks for letting us in your lives.

Hi Lexie, Happy that you and James made it back to Alaska safely. When I was in my twenties I went to California to go back packing in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and stayed 6 years. I loved CA. But when I was ready to start a family I wanted to move back to Louisiana where my parents were. It is good to have adventures but we need our Mama and Daddy’s love and support. Your mom and dad obviously are super supportive and loving. You are truly blessed to have them. It will be an adjustment for James at first for sure because that it a big climate and lifestyle change. Once he starts his job and makes friends and he will be fine. Hopefully he is into hunting , fishing, And Alaska’s greatest past time, snow blowing/shoveling. lol. Best of luck to you both . Let the adventure begin.
