Somali hooyos are special- I had a deeper meaningful relationship with her may Allah grant her Jannah! On the other hand my Dad is a provider, protector, but my relations with him is sketchy up and down but hooyos was effortless she read my mind before I say a word. Dad is combative and quick to whip up the suun that is love to him! Proper Reer Durway!

The big difference I noticed between Mogadishu and Hargeisa is the working hours. Shops and restaurants remain open in Mogadishu all day so you have the option to stay out around noon is the weather permits. Where all the shops close in Hargisa from 12 to 4 (duhur to asr) everyday even if the weather is perfect.

No it's because they open for businesses early in the morning at between 6am to 7am and by the time it's 12 noon they go home for dinner, shower & nap, but they came back to work after Asr once the weather goes back to normal again as it gets too hot at midday. It has nothing to do with chewing qat. Plus, more Qat is eating in Somalia cities compared🎉 to Somaliland so that nasty attitude and lies from Somalia accusing the Somalilanders men as drugs is just people from being jealous and trying to discredit. Let's just call it what it is hatred.

They born and have nationality of somaliland and they visit neighbourhood county somalia muqadiso, though it bit risky place, anyway have nice trip and come back to your beloved country somaliland and the capital city of hargeisa, where you can stay streets even midnight with no fear _somaliland, the home of peace and happiness _somaliland citizens can really trusted unlike other somalis

Hope you get there Hargeysa safely, even though we're not kind of Entertain as you had in mogadishu as a Freedom. Hope you learned a lot from Mogadishu people. Puts it in perspective. You’re allowed to enter Mogadishu without passport when flying form anywhere in Somalia. But flying to hargeisa, SL requires a passport. 😬😬

Sister you can go Hargeysa without Passport but they need (Go Home) Paper, Or Passport if you tel them that you dont hava Pass. they will Ask U Go Home Paper you get that paper from Local Travel Agences.

I will try to explain the passport. When you are travelling to Mogadishu from Haregeysa no need Passport because Mogadishu doesn't recognise Somaliland as a country but as a province part of Somalia but going to Hargeysa from Mogadishu passport is needed because without passport you can not enter Hargeysa because Hargeysa police will deport back to Mogadishu if someone travels without passport.
