Hii pls how early can an international student come to Canada. Can they do so if they have all the documents required by IRCC but school has not yet specifically started issuing confirmation of of enrolment

@@judyunlimited I would advise that you get your confirmation of enrolment because that is what confirms your status as a student. Yes you’re legally allowed to enter Canada but you could be asked to provide your CoE document at the airport and you won’t want to be unprepared when asked. Make sure you confirm this question with your school before taking any steps.

Awwwn honestly I understand. I can’t even say you shouldn’t be nervous because it’s a new phase you are about to step into and it’s expected that your nerves will start acting up lol. All I will just say is that you will be fine by God’s grace. Don’t think about it too much. Just take it a day at a time and honestly if we could survive in Nigeria, we can survive anywhere 😂😂😂

concerning the proof of fund, is it compulsory for it to be in ur own personal account? can u use a relative account?

It’s not compulsory the funds has to be in your personal account. In my case, my dad was standing as my provider, hence, his account was used for proof of funds. Sorry I’m not sure I understand your question very well, however I would say I think it depends on the flight you book and where you’re passing. I didn’t need a transit visa cause I went from Lagos to Ethiopia and then Ethiopia to Toronto and then Toronto to BC. So they didn’t ask because I didn’t need it I guess. I hope I answered your question
