Hello! There is a Bohol-Panglao International Airport so I’m assuming that there are flights directly from Bohol to the states.

Hiii, so I live in Pittsburg with my relatives (still part of the Bay Area) and I would say that my expenses out here aren’t too bad. I’m doing well, thank you for asking. I’ve adjusted to life here in California pretty easily but I’m quite used to having to adjust because we’ve moved around a bit. I asked my cousin who used to live in San Francisco and he said that it’s definitely more expensive there because it’s just an expensive place to live in general. If you look it up it’s one of the most expensive cities to live in. I don’t know what your living situation would be when you do your internship but I would say that you should be prepared for high costs. About the safety thing, I haven’t experienced anything strange personally in the area where I live but one thing my cousin said about living in San Francisco is that there are a lot of homeless people/bums. He doesn’t mean that they’re bad or anything you should just be careful but the same goes for any situation anywhere, you should always just take care and be aware of your surroundings. @@denys7576 You are so welcome! Right, that’s totally understandable. I think that as long as you’re aware of your surroundings and if you have a group of people with you when you go out the safety thing shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Any place you go can be dangerous but just be confident and act like you know what you’re doing, hahahaha. In general, California is an expensive state to live in. I used to live in Arizona and expense-wise it is more reasonable and affordable than here. I honestly don’t know which state I would recommend because I have only ever lived in Arizona then here in California now. I have visited other states but I don’t know what they are like because I didn’t stay long enough to really get to know the places well. That’s amazing that you’re given the option to choose where you guys go. I think California is pretty great and there are a lot of opportunities here. Another thing I would like to note is the diversity of people (you won’t feel out of place or anything, you know?). I’m sorry if I can’t give you a good recommendation for which state, but I think if you look stuff up on Google or even social media with other people’s reviews or stories that should really help. HAHAHAHA, they really did. 🤢 I think because of the way they were cooked.

The ticket for me and my sister combined was a total of $1,797.44. For the breakdown of that sum: • Base fare and Airline Surcharges - $1,690.48 • Taxes and Charges - $106.96. The airline we flew with was Eva Air. You could probably also find cheaper flights depending on the time of year and everything. I’m not sure about the whole process because it was my grandfather who bought the tickets for us. Hope this helps! 🤗

In the area we're living (Pittsburg) I find it really beautiful. There's a lot of rolling green hills and pretty flowers and stuff like that. It's not super crowded as well and there's not as much smog here as there would be in the bigger cities (like San Francisco). The people in this area are very diverse which I like. You don't have to feel out of place or something like that. The environment around us here is clean and I think it's a nice place to live overall. Also, I would say that it really just depends on where you move. There are many wonderful places to live in California I'm sure since it's such a big state. Thanks for watching!!! I hope this helps!
