Hello. I replaced my FP nib too with the one from Schmidt which writes better. Also, you can remove the rollerball nib in that pen and swap in the fountain pen nib so you only need to buy the rollerball pen and a separate FP nib part, rather than buying a fountain pen too. Saves a bit or money and you get two pens for the price of one unit.

Hey it wouldn't let me post the link but I got mine from Studio Pens in the UK. If you google them and Schdmit FH241 they should come up.

The nib you are looking for is a Schmidt FH241. Comes in EF.

Hello. I’m now going to grab a ballpoint one of these to add to the FP 🤦🏾‍♀️ Like you, I really love their designs. On the uniball style fit refill you used 0.38. Is the 0.38 for this wider than other gel inserts? I usually get 0.5 but your writing sample looked about this width so wondering wether their 0.5 insert might be thicker and write like a 1.0? Also what did you stick at the end pls? Thank you 🙏🏾
