Hello everyone! Today I am showing you how you can easily journal in a junk journal format right in your lovely travelers notebook! I hope this helps many people who have purchased journals from me or are new to this style of journaling and don't know how to begin.

Personally I love adding tip-ins! I found out about this method from our sweet Ali Brown, I will link her video below where she explains what a tip-in is and shows other ways to incorporate it into your journal :)
• What is a tip in?
I also love collaging different elements together: fabric, paper, lace, etc. It's such a care-free yet easy way to make a page look adorable! Definitely check out Johanna Clough's videos if you have not already, her style is a perfect example of collaging different papers to make a page look super cute! She has a lot of videos showing how to journal in a junk journal as well :)

Sometimes i have to stop and say : Girl. Girl. Who can use this ?! This is way too much decoration. A 1x1 piece of journalling paper ? I mean , its truly beautiful and darling but still , its so clustered and beautiful that i could NEVER ruin it with my bad handwriting . A couple pages like this would be nice but this is ALOT 😂 But still its beautiful and you like it and im glad you can have it just the way you like it ·3· its truly satisfying

the problem i find with pockets that face the inside of the book, is that as the book grows, those pockets get a lot harder to access as the signatures in front block up the room you have to slide the tag. I stopped doing them that way, and make my pockets always face the outside of the page ..

Such a fabulous page / pages you made. Loved how you found that 200 dollar scarf! Then your like yeah whatever cut it up hahaha 😆😂 I might look for scarfs you can get some pretty ones. I don't have sewing machine though I'm not good at them haha, thinking of getting a cheap one lol. Xx

Another perfectly lovely project! So many ideas to take away for my own creations! I know what you mean about the cheesecloth fabric being a bit too unstructured. I bought some and think I will wash and put it in the dryer to see if the weave tightens up enough when shrunk. 😊

A little tip....If you're using double stick tape and it gets stuck where you don't want it, heat it for a few seconds with your hair dryer. It'll soften the tape and make it easier to remove.

I Loved this video! haha you are just precious! ive been into many paper crafts for years, but am new to junk journals, and TN journaling daily. I thought I had watched all of your journal with me videos!!! I was excited to see this one! My mom gave me a sewing machine last night so I cannot wait to learn to use it!!!! kkossor Awe thank you darling!! Journaling can be supper easy and carefree! If you prepare the stuff you want to include beforehand, it makes the process much easier. I will be filming a video on sewing for beginners in the future so hopefully that will help! If not you can just adhere fabric with glue, will give the same texture and effect!

Amity Bloom Thank you very much for the reply. I will look for the sewing video. I had a tad of sewing in 7th grade but someone stole all of my supplies & my project & I think that's why I never learned. Must be a form of PTSD (Post Traumatic Sewing Disorder) I'm a Psychologist (now disabled). I use crafting & humor to ignore my pain. God Bless! xxoo

Hello Tiffany!! I am so happy you enjoyed! I use 24-26 lb copy paper, antique ledger, scrapbook paper, and pretty much any type of vintage book pages! Whatever paper that catches your eye you can include it in a journal, I dye all of them by the half tea/ half coffee dying method, it gives the best results!
