Being a photo hobbyist this video reminded me why I started watching your channel. I know this style does not bring in as many viewers as less photocentric videos. I think if people watched this on a big screen TV they would have a greater appreciation of the quality of your work. Having taken tens of thousands of photos and many hours of video I understand the level of effort that goes into creating your cinematic style videos. Jason, thank you for all your hard work.

We were in Oregon in 2015 and Utah in 2019. Both for just two weeks away from England. What magnificent country, especially Bryce Canyon. Also the drive through Escalante and Boulder up to Capitol Reef National Park. Brings back so many memories and such a desire to return. Thank you.

We did our first trip to Utah last spring, Plan on returning at least one time each year. Oregon is great but Utah is also special. In August will be canoeing the lower Green River. Spring break we were snow on, August it should be hot!

Hi Jason ~ You're bringing back wonderful memories of eastern Utah and areas I loved near my home in Grand Junction, CO (especially around MOAB), back before there were so many cool tent ideas. Being able to have your tent separate from the vehicle, makes it more like an RV. I've always loved hammocks! Very nice!

Subscribed today. Really dig the photography work and lifestyle. The trailer allows you to accessorize, but seems to limit your off-road abilities and dog access. Is the long bed not big enough?

My home state! I have been part timing in my 18 ft hard side trailer. I have an old tent trailer that I retired when I got my hard side. I have been going back and forth about selling it, but I won't get much money from it. Your video confirmed that I am going to keep my tent trailer, put a better axle on it and flip it with bigger wheels and off road tires so I can go to places like you did in this video. That is the one thing I miss with my new trailer. Of course, I can always just tent it! But why not have the tent trailer as an option! 😊 Can't wait to see more of your Utah videos! Where did you end up staying your first night? What town?

Hey man! Is there a reason you don’t keep your sleeping gear up in the tent?
@TheDenisedrake
@TheDenisedrake 6 лет назад
Yes, I was wondering the same. I thought that was the benefit of a roof top tent.
@PrimalOutdoors
@PrimalOutdoors 5 лет назад
I used too, but with two 0 degree bags and a pillow it was getting a bit to difficult to get the tent to shut and get the cover on properly so I made a huge stuff sack and I throw all my sleeping gear in it and throw it in the trailer. I have come to like this better because the tent is a lot easier to shut and if I need to clean my sleeping gear I don't need to open the tent to get to it. Jason

Beautiful shot as always! Do you always shoot in live mode or just when shooting landscapes? I've never used my live mode on my Canons, got so used to viewfinder I never think to use it! LOL
@PrimalOutdoors
@PrimalOutdoors 6 лет назад
I have been using it more and more because I can review the live view histogram plus I can see the entire framing of the shot, but I do only use it when I am on a tripod, I always use the viewfinder if I am hand holding. Jason

I believe he had it on his truck before, however a trailer does serve a great purpose in that you can leave it set up as a base camp and drive off to explore
