For some reason, I was expecting this video to end with Griffy being so disillusioned with MLK that he actually killed him, completing the time loop and becoming the very thing he swore to destroy.
I always watch without headphones so the people in the room go “wtf are you watching??!?” It’s always funny. Better around friends than grandma though.

0:01 This is not what I expected when I clicked my notification for a Griffy video and that's obviously my mistake. I should always expect the unexpected from Anthony. And seriously, this man is more creative and original than the guy who made the lightbulb. And I stand by that statement!
Fun Fact: MLK's first (and according to multiple close friends, only) true love was Betty Moitz, a white woman of German descent he met while at Crozer Seminary. They were planning to marry, but MLK's parents and family shot down the relationship, claiming an interracial marriage between the two would cause further animosity between blacks and whites. They set up an arraigned marriage between him and Coretta Scott instead, but he never fully recovered emotionally and the two never stopped loving each other, even when separated. Personally, I think that is one of the greatest tragedies of the entire movement. They were/would have been an excellent power couple and it would have made much more progress in repairing race relations. The leaders of the movement were far too focused on appeasement and let their own biases/ego come into play!
i feel like MLK would’ve been killed much earlier if the racist whites find out he is in relationship with a white woman especially if he was opened about it
yeah and if he actually believed in everything he claimed it wouldn't have bothered him. Goes to show he didn't really stand for anything and was just a voice behind some cool sounding speeches. Why do we have a national holiday for a guy who was unfaithful to his wife, went on crack binges, and engaged in orgies while claiming to be a holier than thou man of christ again?
@@Tony_Pfann He did engage in some plagiarism. Not the biggest deal for a non-academic preacher type. But yes Griffy was there in time travel form and did decide not to save him when he saw what he saw.
