I’ve seen beggars in Nanjing, while I was eating at a park. But I have been to over 40 cities in China. Homeless people don’t seem to exist. Except for some white guys, backpacking. I met one homeless Irish dude. He was handsome and one bath away from being better than most Germans.

Hi Detrick. I had an easy time going through the airport. There were multiple stations. Just filling in information and then doing the test and then customs. Finally, we were brought to a hotel (you cannot choose the hotel) with a bus. Depending on the hotel you are put in, you can order food online through an app called meituan. I had staff at the hotel help me set up the address. The app is in Chinese, if you have problems understanding, you can take a screenshot an translate it through wechat. However, some hotels don’t allow people to order food I have heard. The staff at the hotel came to check out temperatures everyday and one test was done after the first week (if I don’t remember wrong) and the second one was done at the end. If your test comes back negative you are good to go and they call you to let you know that morning to be released.
