Safe Travels! 🚘 Try the fudge when you get to the Smokies! The fudge just melts in your mouth!❤If you have time, take a ride through Cades Cove. It is so peaceful and Beautiful! Possibly could see a bear 🐻 We took several pictures of bears when we drove through the last time there. ❤
just saw a momma and her twins about 5 ft from us while driving the loop. She was on the ground watching her twins in the tree right on the side of the road. My grandkids loved seeing her

I used to be a Paraprofessional in a special needs preschool. At one time I worked one on one with a four yr old with Spina Bifida and MD and he was nonverbal. I believe it was his speech Pathologist that set him up with speaking panel. It was similar to Sebastian’s toy with the large buttons that lights up and plays music when he pushes one of the colored buttons. You program each button with a single word, for example “Eat”. The button has Eat written on it and when he pushes it, it with say “Eat”. You could also add words like “Mom”, “Dad”, “Sleep”, “Play”, etc. You could add or take away buttons as he learns new ones or his needs change. This is a great way to teach him to communicate with you so you know exactly what he wants. I think Sebastian could use that device very well. I cannot remember the name of it but is a great tool!
I'm sure you'll have a great vacation. It's awesome to see Sebastian experience new things. I have to say he has the cutest dimples! My Autistic grandson isn't a fan of the movie theater either. It's too loud and ours can't sit still. But we don't know if we don't try and we always have an alternate plan just in case. Sometimes new things don't work out and that's okay! A little packing tip from me: A while back I made a packing list for one of my travels. And now I keep reusing it every time I travel. I check it off as I pack, and I find it very helpful, and I don't stress as much thinking if I've remembered everything anymore. I would definitely recommend doing something like this, especially for Sebastian, because as you said, there are so many "little" things to remember, such as the charger for the pulsoximeter. @@catiehays3361 Yes, exactly :) I also find it helps me sleep the night before we're leaving, because when I wake up the morning of traveling, I just need to pack whatever is left on the list. I don't have to keep reminding myself of things that I don't want to forget and so on.

It is a stressful time when you have to plan and pack for a trip, but you are doing a wonderful job Stephanie!! I absolutely give you props for packing on a vacation. Im getting ready to pack for just the weekend at the beach and its me and the hubster. You are an absolutely superwoman to do what you do. Thats why i love you sharing your life like youdo. My youngest had severe allergic asthmatic problems that required us to pack medical equipment but im really impressed with how you jumped at this challenge. I can not wait for all the vac details. So happy you are getting away. I love the smokey mountain area. So beautiful.
Packing can be so stressful…but you seem to be handling things well. Taking a young child to the movies is more fun for the parents than for the child. Sitting in the dark with loud dialog or music can be frightening. I know you want Sebastian to have new experiences, but he seems the happiest just rolling around in the floor or listening to your sweet voice. Those dimples get me every time. So precious. Love the way Zeus will lay beside Sebastian. What a gentle pup he is. Nayal was especially vocal today. Love when she whistles and says, “good girl”! You will love Tennessee. There is so much to do for a young family. Steph you amaze me how focused you are with everything on your plate. But, it is great you take time out for yourself to go to the gym. We have always absolutely loved going to the mountains . Our kids and now their kids. Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountains. So beautiful. The fall and winter is our fave but every season is lovely. Have a wonderful and peaceful time. How sweet for Sebastian to experience the mountains. I love that you take him to the cabin and to all these adventures.Have a great trip.❤🏞🐻😊☀️

I love animals and how wonderful they are. I would have cuddled with Zeusy for ages and taken walks to the park and get a puppaccino afterwards. ❤❤❤
The Smokey Mountains are amazing and so beautiful as well. There are so many fun things to do there too.I have been so many times but we aren't that far away, maybe 3 hours or so. You guys will love it. I will be praying for you all to have a safe trip there and back. Super mom. That’s all I have to say. I always packed for my hubby and two boys ( now 21 & 24). I was worried about enough underwear, not worried about oxygen and heart rates. You are truly amazing. I don’t know where you get the strength to do it. And on top of it…take care of pets. I had a a Quaker parrot many moons ago and as much as I loved him, he was so messy and dirty. Hope you have a wonderful vacation.

Prediction…..Sebastian’s signing will expand after he’s in school. You’re doing great already, working on basic signs. I think his communication will really grow! Also, it is SO wonderful that Sebastian’s heath has been stable enough to go on his first family vacation and also the movie theater. Even if he wasn’t a fan of the movies! Lastly, enjoy your precious family time. Don’t vlog if you don’t want to, we understand that your family time is a priority.
