This week would mark the most memorable moments in Japan so far!
Meeting Yoshida who was so excited to see his first Hitop Troopy, Melissa and her amazing family, thanks to Gabriel for helping translate.
We are so glad that we changed our plans last minute to make it to the Land Cruisers Fan Meeting and were absolutely blown away by the excitement and friendliness of the Land Cruiser Community in Japan.
So many curious people, wanting to know more, see what adjustments where made, how we lived, explained the trip and got some great advice in locations to see across this beautiful country.
We made many new friends and hope that we see some of them again on our journey or even possibly on the road!
A special shout to Subaru who drove all the way from Tokyo (2 hours away) just to meet us at Hirano Beach and spend a couple of hours together.
And to Hiroshi who met us the following morning at Hirano Beach and drove with us in our first trophy convoy! This was so cool to drive together to the Mount Fuji Speedway!
Then to everyone else we had the honour of talking too on Instagram but also in person, thanks for letting me play with the kids too! That was loads of fun!
At the end of the day, being able to drive our slow old boy Harvey on a real life race course was probably one of the funniest things we'd ever done with our car and probably the slowest one in history ahaha!
This was such an awesome experience that we both had and we were so happy to meet so many other passionate people about Land Cruisers and Over Landing.
And as it always does, what we had planned changes again....stay tuned!
