I have the two-wheeled version of the Travelpro Crew Classic, which is virtually identical to the one you show, except the obvious wheel difference. You point out that shallow pocket on the outside top of the suitcase, and you said you don't use it. I've found it's very useful for one purpose: It's a great temporary stash for things while going through security. While I'm waiting in line for the TSA, I fill that pocket with my phone, passport, keys, wallet, coins, wristwatch, and anything else I had been carrying in my pants pockets. I zip it closed and my suitcase goes through the X-ray machine, while I walk through the metal detector without setting off any alarms. When I'm done, I don't have to pick up a bunch of loose items from the bin, but I can transfer those things out of that suitcase pocket and back into my pants pockets at my leisure.
Thank you for making the videos. I need to get a carry on bag and looking at Travelpro. Trying to decide on the compact for a carry on. I am new to traveling out of the country. I see the external measurements is 23" will that one inch make a difference if they check it?
Haven't had an issue on Delta, American, United, KLM, Virgin Atlantic, Air Tahiti Nui, British Airways. It's the smaller/discount carriers that can be a challenge. Safe travels!
@@ALinsdauwhich suitcase is this. The compact or classic. I can’t decide between the two. My current carry on it between both sizes I’m just worried the bigger one won’t fit in the overhead bin
