I love the fact that Jason gets on here and has no worry to show his house as a normal lived in home. The laundry basket and his house actually looks lived in and doesn’t have to have it look like a Homearama house. Makes me like him even more. He’s a normal guy just like the majority of us and has no issues with it!! Love it Jason

I love his house. It's the kind of house I could just come in and feel welcome and happy. It's beautiful without being pristine or perfect. It's a family home. There were 5 of us kids in my house growing up. Mom took care of the house but was not perfect. It was clean and comfortable like this one. Just like what I grew up in. I love Jason's house.

I also think he's wrong. Dachshunds are incredibly quick and fast, and jason ran a 4.89 as a young man. He is well over 5 at this point in his life, I would imagine. Would be fun to see, I think it would be close.

I had a dachshund and that dog could out run pretty much anything and make a 90 degree turn without slowing down she was a terror when she was a puppy and I had to chase her down when she ran out the door basically just kept up till she got tired and carried her home

I’m a Grandma, wasn’t even born in this country, zero knowledge of football ,yet just love to watch these two brothers with their funny banters. Travis laughing is so infectious. Jason with his dry sense of humor , making viral/controversial remarks, makes this a wonderful show for everyone including nonballers.

As a math teacher, Travis did a great job with explaining his math. There is usually more than one correct way to get to an answer. Being able to explain your process shows that you truly understand what you are doing. He does this when he explains his football plays too.

By the end of the year with me constantly saying that we all think differently, and we share the different ways of thinking, they usually feel a while lot better about their math skills.

Have two divisions for the Beer Bowl: 92%ers and “Celebs.” Part of celebs division is raising funds for charity. Winner of celeb division is determined by funds raised & performance in competition.

Agreed. Celebs should be separated from and not compete against (because they are not on par with) 92%’ers. Jason, as a man of the people, let the regular folx (as you said, amateurs) play each other, and the celebs support but not in the same mix as the everyday folks. I think in many cases, equal treatment is not equity or equitable. With celebs, there is an unfair advantage to mix ‘em in. I think it would be distracting to have famous folks play alongside teams without star or influencer power. In this case - please choose equity, not equality. Raise the 92%’er people up. 👍🫶🍻

I'm so sorry! Best of luck in the job search! I know you have a lot to do and a lot of worries right now. Oprah used to talk about writing in a gratitude journal every day. I've personally experienced amazing blessings whenever I remember to write out what I'm grateful for. You don't need a special book. Use Word or a notebook and if you have time to write 5 things you're grateful for each day, blessings really do appear. There's always something to be grateful for - electricity, running water - it doesn't matter what you write, it will make a difference! 😘

Does anyone remember “seven degrees of separation from Kevin Bacon?” Turns out everything is seven degrees to Taylor Swift. Our DIL and granddaughter went to the Eras Tour so we were pulled in by that. Then, Lily informed us about Travis. I watched your podcast out of curiosity and found Jason to be hysterical. I’m from GA and have lived in AL for 30 years. In order to get a driver’s license in this state you must declare if you are for Auburn or Alabama. Okay it isn’t quite that bad. I taught 2nd and 3rd grade and spent a lot of time breaking up fights. After a particularly bloody recess, I laid down the law: I better not hear another ugly word unless you can show me you have enrolled in one of these colleges.

In the beer competition, have 2 divisions, one for regular people, one for “celebrities”, winners meet in the Super Beer Bowl, AFC/NFC type…. You still get division champs for bragging rights…..

As a German I'll give some context on Father's Day here: 1. Father's Day being on a national holiday means that most dads have the day off. Then most would take a "Brückentag" (bridge day), which is basically a day of paid vacation to "bridge" the Friday, so that Father's Day is day one of a four day weekend. 2. The weather is usually good on Father's Day, so a lot of the younger (below 40) men grab a wagon, fill it with beer and food and usually also some type of stereo system and go on a hike with other dudes. Now hike is a VERY loose term here. The incentive is to walk around, eat good food and get absolutely shit-faced. Most guys I know don't venture into the woods that day because most of them are too drunk to survive an emergency situation in the woods. 3. Most men over 40 do the barbecue at home thing. It's not an unusual thing to have several generations of men in a family standing around a barbecue and talking shit. 4. For a while now the drunk hike has expanded to not just fathers, but men of all ages participate. So Father's Day has kind of become "Männertag" (men's day). Sadly, this leads to a sad statistic, showing that the number of car accidents under the influence of alcohol is significantly higher on this day than most other days of the year (according to statistics a third of car accidents on that day are related to alcohol, more than on any other day of the year) 5. Personally father's day gifts aren't as big of a thing as mother's day gifts. Getting your father a tie or a practical gift are the norm in most families I know.

I feel like I should share. I'm here every week, subscribed, despite not being a swiftie - or a 92% r, BUT DON'T COME FOR ME Taylor army "Shake it Off" is my literal theme song! Therefore, it is truly an incredible feat that I'm here. Also have a podcast, but don't particularly care for them or listen to them, EXCEPT this one! lol Why am I writing a novel? I wanted to emphatically say these two are the best! They make me wish I'd grown up with siblings! The banter and laughter is infectious.
