@@familyengineering5591 I'm no fan of veganism, but the dude runs 3+ miles a day at 47 and has played with the same unmatched intensity and energy for 20+ years. There isn't another drummer on the planet that can say the same thing.
One of my influences as a Drummer. Travis is one of the best drummers that can play 180 bpm and still sounds amazing. Sick fills and out of this world speed.
2:21 He finally nails this rhythm, sounds so sick. It got screwed up a couple of times when they played on the late night shows, but it sounds amazing (and terrifying!) here.
@@Ejwats the best itself isn’t that difficult, it’s just the speed and precision he plays it at that’s insane. you could easily play it at a slower tempo, but the way he does is inhuman
That’s one hell of a drum 🥁 part to write. Ppl need to realize how 🔥 this is. He could have made just a normal beat. But he choose to create a complex drum part that he could alter from show to show on tour. So dope
Not really a Blink or Travis fan, but all the haters are daft, the only criticism u can have is that he’s inefficient, aside that, his chops are proven and his volume is insane. Very very good at what he does. And people love it. What more do u want?
@@oliverdenman7237 Always using too much power which is sacrificing tone for volume, and which is making his fucking hands BLEED. This is, like, the definition of inefficiency.
oliver denman not a criticism, cos he can do what he does well, but that there’s a lot more energy expended than he could get away. Holding your arm in that position to play the hihat uses more energy than dropping your shoulder and hihat height.
travis barker is the most creative drummer i have heard of..his beats ,his style ..from enema of the states to the bored to death album..damn he truly is a genius on drums
Riccardo Matteini id listen to some other music almost every rock genre from the pioneers of heavy metal to this present rock genre..yeah there are so many faster and good drummers but not that creative..its not about how you do solos in live concerts its about creativity..
