Corey himself said something like " I work with two amazing drummers [referring to Joey and Roy] but Travis is one of the most natural drummers i have ever worked with." something like that anyway

Yea I read that before as.well.... It must be kinda old bcuz I'm fairly certain that he would give Jay Weinberg a shout out. Jay is also an amazing drummer as well. He.can play all the old Slipknot songs as well as Joey did... He's also like percussion royalty... His father is Max Weinberg, the drummer for Bruce Springsteen's E-Street band.... I am a slipknot fan of both Joey & Jay.... I love almost everything Corey Taylor does.... I named my son Corey Layne after CT of course and the late, great Layne Staley.

okay, how come their aren't more tracks on Travis's album like this? i mean i tried to check out the rest of his album, but all the tracks were hip-hop songs that didn't sit well with what i was into. i know Travis Barker is an artist who makes what he likes, and i know he doesn't care what some guy with a computer thinks about his record, but i'm just expressing my own thoughts here. i realize this might sound cynical, but that's not the intent

@batmanblade123 While I agree with the water down comment, I still think his voice holds plenty of fire. Listen to Stone Sour song REBORN! my opinion, thats all. I hate when bands water down over time. Too many do it.

First of all it is Jordison. Second of all, both are excellent drummers in their respective style. Joey would probably not be able to shuffle his Hi-hat jazzy style like does Barker and Barker could not hammer a double drum like does Jordison. Leave each musician their specs and style and do not compare em

Joey has amazing technique, he is fast yes but the mother fucker isn't just a fast player. He pulls some shit out of his ass that makes my jaw hit the floor. All those drummers you mentioned are fucking amazing don't get me wrong, but Joey is a very technical drummer on their later shit. Not early Slipknot tho.
