OK Travis get some KLIM outerwear and some Baffin -50F boots and some good gloves. I am sure you will get many volunteers in Colorado to take you ice fishing. It is so much fun jigging down an ice hole and pulling out huge trout and northern pike. It is not far from Boulder and a great experience with the right clothing. Travis should do a graduating senior scholarship tournament to University of Colorado. He could make it a very short tournament (maybe a one day)bank fishing, no boats. He could get it sponsored by a local angler for $1500-$2500 or get with a rod/reel company and do a nice one for maybe $10,000. Solo angler big fish wins money, team big fish wins money. He likes to play basketball also. He could do the old hoop it up street ball in the streets of the campus with the 3 pt and dunk contest. Travis Hunter big bass invitational senior scholarship paid upon registration to school, 2nd prize rod/reel setup, 3rd prize go home empty hand. He could probably get the hoopers at the college to be the refs.
