This is actually the first installment of a trilogy about a war vet, his friend and his girl "Annie." The second song, "Tell me I was Dreaming" was my favorite and the most tearjercking of the three in my opinion. The third is "If I lost you."

paulieg1980 not too long ago most people who didn’t grow up on country stayed away from it because there were alternatives like R&B. True R&B died and I cannot for the life of me figure out why. But country, Blues and R&B aren’t that different at heart. Not the good stuff, anyway.

Lost in Vegas- I know you guys do song reactions but since you really liked the song (and yes the song its self is absolutely beautiful!) But you need to watch the official video. Travis himself has said (and I doubt he's changed his mind) that out of all of the videos he had done "Anymore" was the one he was the most proud of. If you like it the story doesn't end there. Though a few years apart the songs "Tell Me I Was Dreaming" & "If I lost You" were made into videos that continue Travis's character of Mac Singleton in ""Anymore".

Travis Tritt was the one that got me into country music. I exactly remember when it happened. It was 1998 and for the first time my dad bought Pay-TV which was pretty new and unknown here in Germany at that time. So I realized that the channels didn't only include TV-channels but also radio-channels. I switched through them and had to stop at the country music channel because that song got me absolutely hooked. It was Travis Tritt with "No more looking over my shoulder". It took me ages to find it on Napster back then :-) Whenever I found some time I tuned in to that country channel discovering many more artists that I learned to appreciate and since then I'm one of the few German country music fans out there. So if you want to do one more Travis Tritt song, check out "No more looking over my shoulder", it's really good.
