very good video about the hard working people in trinidad... i never realized the energy and effort netting and fishing for a living is...must respect the boat captains and their crews for passing this knowledge down to us... the boat is a creative work of art and engineering in itself. due to the beauty and bounty of trinidad i would call that trip a good time too...the mid-ocean fishing spot was interesting...thanks heavy and your fam. blessings.
nice vllog Mr knock ah pot , good to see Randall, now is time to get the whole family back together... trouble the fella with d long sleeve jersey who driving the boat looking like yuh brother boi......
illegal shrimp trawling in trinidad destroys baby fishes. size of net is also illegal. Data shows that in Trinidad 14.71 pounds of juvenile fish are discarded for each pound of shrimp that is landed, the second highest by-catch discard in the world. As far from sustainable as possible.
Trawling is illegal here in the US and I thought all over the world. Sad to see this is being practiced in TnT 😢 Glad you said something.Thumbs up to the channel but this video is a no no for me.
Much ❤️ Save Our Eco System one Plankton at a time 🌎 Why are they Trawling so close to shore?? Why are people still not wearing Life Vest?? Educate…. one person at a time
Wow no wonder Shrimp is soo expensive, this is real work but must be profitable bc they keep at it. Great Vlog Trouble and nice to see MIA Mr. Randell, love you guys, God bless

The first ever video on youtube with trinidad made trawlers operating. You normally see stone drag (deep sea trawler) on youtube but these special. Great content brother. Thanks 💯💯
Blessed Indian Arrival Day to the Trini out and about family and the viewers and subscribers.Lovely video down Kings Wharf in San Fernando and welcome back Randel.
Such a travesty that so many non-target species had to die and be discarded. We MUST strive to do better!! No wonder our fisheries are being destroyed.
Dear Mr. Knock a pot: you are a great chef and seem to be a family man. These are laudable traits. But I wish to ask you: is this trawling legal or illegal? Moreover, the trawling your ship has propagated has sought to capture shrimp but has deliberately destroyed many baby fish and ocean material that constitutes part of the eco-system. The nature of trawling is destroying fish and wider marine habitat. It is an absolute shame that you showed this video. This is completely unsustainable.
Hey Madho This trawling is not illegal in Trinidad and this is there trawling grounds that most of the fishermen catch their shrimp and whether I show it or not this is these people livelihood and trawling will continue in every country in the world wherever fresh shrimp is available (unless you eat farm shrimp) so I honestly think if you do eat shrimp you should stop immediately because therefore you are supporting it and they don’t catch shrimp with hook only net so !!!. And I only did this to show a life of a fisherman and what they go through day and night to put food on their table
Hey I honestly don’t think so because they only trawl in a specific area with is close to the mang area which is basically 18”-30” of slush / mud where shrimp usually lives and breed
