I’m not sure if they will, based on the current status of parts availability most likely this will be a promotional rig. Or it’s because due to unique platform they may not want their parts out yet to be copied, hard to say.
@@stuwest3653 I feel as if this is true if we apply previous snap on models in this case. They will probably produce this car but if course in it’s own livery and perhaps that will drop the model price? The promotional offering is hard to go off of since it’s a brand new platform unlike the previous slash/Xmax & other “snap on” vehicles.
Good idea on the sound module im going to see if i can get one soon. I already have a driver but could find a vintage one at the moment ill make a video soon
This for sure is going to go into full production. Too much R&D for a snap-on only run. Plus, everyone wants one and their marketing team knows it. I'll be buying one!
Another RC channel was saying after talking with someone at traxxas that the snap on edition vehicles are a big profit on their own, they wouldn't need a production run to justify them. But everyone wants one of these so I wouldn't doubt a full run comes.
I would love to see this as a production kit. Used to race stock sprint in Antioch California back in the mid 90’s with a Custom Works Sprint Car. Would love to see a vintage class.
@@paulhudson1931 If on the off chance I get one, there will definitely be a driver. It’s weird they made a one-of just for Snap-on Tools. Hoping they start selling a non-branded one coz I doubt I’ll ever be able to find one of these for sale at a price I can afford. One sold on eBay for $1200!
I was going to say I would be worried replacement parts will be almost nonexistent but very cool Traxxas is going to send them out as needed. Traxxas is money hungry so based on the views this video is getting they will make a mainstream version. Great video.
I’m thinking marketing ploy. Show it… everyone wants it but can’t get it. Let social media blow it up so even more people want it… then release it to the hungry hoards who will gobble them up faster than they can put them on the shelves. Fukers… lol
@@BriansRCStuff Yeah idk the Snap-On Xmaxx was never mass produced!! and a long time B4 the hauler was released from them having the Snap-On haule. and actually don't think they are identical...But we never know.
I don't know about the best looking Traxxas yet....It's cool, but I would choose any other Traxxas b4 that... Especially if it's actually valued at 500 + like he said, Much better Traxxas options for that kind of money, It's a novelty it's a shelf Queen, and that's fine for some people and not for others....
They will sir. They wouldnt go out of their way to create a brand new platform and development for just a few replicas . Eventually they will bring it out for mass production.
Hi, must admit that I’m not an rc car guy. But, I do love the 20’s style body in your video. If this is made available for purchase I would definitely buy
For 1000 bucks online is price gouging. Id pay 200 for this like you said, it cant just be a snap on exclusive for long. Everyone wants one of these since it was discovered. You can make race classes out of this vehicle
I’m more impressed by the parking lot I live in Michigan our parking lots only look like that for about 6 months the car was the reason I watched and it was worth it
Well it's just not like the other cars either it's pretty much a shelf queen, idk maybe you could find some applications but look at what all you get with a 4s Maxx for same price and what all you can do. It's pretty overpriced. But if that's your thing, that's your thing. I couldn't ever really get into Traxxas specialty cars.
If you break or burn up the tires, a set of 2.2 4wd buggy fronts would probably fit on all 4 corners. Go old school and do a set of knobby pin tires there still around.
Next thing to do is producing a period-correct driver, say, with a leather flight helmet. Or go all-out wonky and bake a bigger Wild Willy driver with a mad-bomber hat and big, chunky goggles. Sound module? I f'eel traxxas will come-out with one if the Sprint Car sells well. They already got the tech for it.
This is definitely not 1:6 scale! Absolutely not!!! Rather 1:10 - 1:12 scale. These were huge cars, believe it or not. They often boasted 10-15l displacement engines and were sometimes over 5 meters long.
