You sold me on this kit and thank you for all the videos. You also sold me your SC10b and it truly was bulletproof. I enjoyed hours of beating up on my friends who ran Traxxas 3s Slashes. I just passed it on yesterday though because this Bronco is where it's at now.
That’s awesome my friend! Glad to hear the 10b got all the love. That thing handled great! Thank you for being a long time supporter! It means the world 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Nice light kit I have a trx4 traxx edition it came with lights and modules , but don’t use a lot so it’s still stock system lol I’m looking to get a new crawler here soon
just saw the vid and realised i ordered the same kit because i think the traxxas kit is expensive .... why buy expensive when cheaper does it just as good or even better (in case you changed the electronics) good job ....
Good info to know, I’m debating between the traxxas kit and this kit and I think this helped me make up my mind. Also is there a way to toggle through different light setting on the stock transmitter without being tied to diff locking or one of the two trans speeds? thanks
Awesome video as usual, thank you for the information on this kit. I always question the turn signal purpose, I mean its cool but its a novelty function. I suppose you could just leave the steering bypassed and delete that function. Did you install the marker LEDs?, does the instructions suggest a place to mount them?
I disconnected the ch1 connection after the video and everything works without turn signals. The only place I can think of for marker lights is on the mirrors. Maybe there is an optional kit to add mirrors with 3mm led sockets?
@@krlaturn That’s very cool to hear about the turn signals. One thing would be cool if you could switch between amber and white halos, but Its pretty cool the way it is. 👍🏼
I really want a fusion in my 2021 bronco. So the Traxxas light kit just don’t work for me. So thank you for a great video. Do you know if you could add bumper lights and a light bar to that system? How would I do that?
I would say it would be best to wire up the bumper lights and roof light independent from this kit. The leds from the bumper would wire straight to the receiver and could remain with the chassis during body removal. Most roof lights come with their own switch and are high powered. Most of the time they are 7.4-11.1v and would require a separate connection.
Great video thank you for sharing. I just returned the stock traxxas light kit back to my LHS because I can't make it work with my system. Could you possibly share a link to where you got this kit from.

I just got the same light kit and all works except Front turn signals, and Brake lights are very very dim, I have to be in a dark room to see them at all. Didn't think they were working until i turned off the room light. Any Ideas ? THX
Did you double check your connections between the steering Servo>light controller> receiver? Not sure about the brightness? What voltage are you running to your receiver and light controller? I’m running 7.4v to mine
This light kit doesn’t come with rock lights. Its module is at full capacity. You would need a separate kit for rock lights and use another auxiliary channel if you desire to operate them (on/off) from your remote
@@manualuserX yes I used matte clear on the roof. www.walmart.com/ip/Clear-Rust-Oleum-American-Accents-2X-Ultra-Cover-Matte-Spray-Paint-12-oz/965292579?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&wl13=2732&adid=22222222421449455997&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=496703829587&wl4=pla-293946777986&wl5=9010868&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=120643079&wl11=local&wl12=965292579&wl13=2732&veh=sem_LIA&gclid=CjwKCAjwgviIBhBkEiwA10D2j0YzG96Dl3faEcgxGXpjVWIA_0wEGc4HPRBm_RBmzvcfGqiI8SBAlBoCmeIQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
Hello I just found this video because I had been thinking about getting a light kit, is it possible not to have the turn signals hooked up? I do like the four ways though.... thanks for posting!
Yes it’s very simple. This system works by using the throttle and steering inputs from the receiver. You just omit the connection to ch1 steering and no turn signals. The hazards still work along with all the other functions 👍🏻
@@verynick it will still work. Ch1, ch2, and ch3 pass through the unit and still operate everything. The instructions will explain better once you receive it👍🏻
