As of now I agree. I have 6 and 4s mojave. I bought the maxx slash just today and it is wicked. I haven't run the slash enough yet but I will see. I like the slash but I tend to think I will enjoy the 4s mojave more but I'll see soon. I do think the maxx slash is wicked though
Oh yeah big time the arrma mojave is another think nothing to compare with this fusion oh maxx/slahs. Same electronics for thr udr. I want to see a traxxas news rc with another powerful brand in electronics like a hobbywing or castle creations. Cause for that $$$ money $$$ $700 + taxes mmm I don't know. Just for another's $180 I I can get the udr.🤷🏻
The 6s EXB roller Mojave is my favorite RC of all time. No weak points, no real issues whatsoever. Complete beast, but I think this could be a lighter and clipless twin to compliment it. Cannot wait to get mine and throw some paddles on it for the dunes.
Man, Arrma is loving the timing, Mojave 4S is gonna sell like hotcakes now that there's an overpriced 6S the same size to make it look like pure bargain

Need a side by side of the Mojave 6s and it. Looks like Mojave digs the dirt/grass better. On pavement the 4s Mojave has shown to be faster in lap times than the 6s
seems cool but very disappointing that on 6s its not any faster then my stock mojave 4s with out the speed gear i got 55 and 56 mph... i alway hate traxxas claims a top speed but man you gotta do a ton of changes to get there they should just say what it does not what it could do if you switch a bunch of stuff and pray... i dont see this handling 70 mph
All the hate i have seen for this short course. I love mine. I dont baby it. I work hard for what i get, so the price didn't scare me away. Live people get what you want as long as it doesnt cause issues elsewhere in your life. I have been looking for a motor cooling fan, Traxxas says they do not offer one, and the servo is a bit slow. But like i said I love it. Have had it for a few weeks and need a new body already..lol
Awesome videos brother. I am just getting back into RCs. I have 2 Sportwerks Mayhems. 1/8 buggies. I Nitro and the other I had started converting to a Li-Po when they came out but ended up putting them away. There was a co.pany that made the motor mounts for the conversion motors. He moved his shop to Arizona and I guess he didn't make it. I had changed the main frame to the Turmoil forward center of gravity. The turmoil was the name change and they moved the engine forward some for stability. It helped a lot. I need to find universal mounts for my 8th scale buggy so I can complete the conversion. I still have the digital JR controller I bought weeks before I had to put them away. Old tech now lol.
That car is an absolute Beast I'll put it to you this way I have an x-maxx I have an xrt I have a red cat vigilante this little car f****** surprised the hell out of me well worth the money you definitely will get a bang for the buck this car is a blast it is an absolute Beast just remember you have to have some skills to drive this car this car isn't for everyone
That thing looks awesome but something about it makes me think I should stick with my 6s mojave. I haven't seen one in person but they just seem real clunky compared to the mojave...I dknow!
Thanks for the great video as usual JayTee! This one is definitely not my first choice. Its interesting amd Im not complaining that Traxxas is offering something new and fresh, but i would rather buy another UDR or go with a Mojave personally.
Unless I was racing, I'm not sure the allure to these machines like this or the Mojave. I'd rather have a Maxx, Kraton or Outcast, etc. More purpose built for jumping like this
I prefer to run a 4 s battery in this bad boy. if ya dont, be prepared to watch it go tumbling ALOT haha but its super fun and i found a weak spot on the body basically back where the tailights would be
I thought it looked better on asphalt than on the rough stuff. It looked very bouncy especially on landings, maybe the damping is a little on the hard side. I know SCT's like to parachute but it didn't look like it had much air control with those belted tyres
Lookin good. It's not designed for higher jumpsuit like that, but it's ok. At least we see how it bahaves. I would drive it like I drive my Mojave when I had it : long distance jumps, but not too high 👍
Mojave is probably going to be a better basher. I'm guessing this is designed a bit more towards performance and handling? You know we all want to see you thrash it as your skate park though haha
also i feel like the shock springs that come on this truck are way too short. like i can adjust my shock almost all the way before i get any tension on the spring
Why does Traxxas put false speeds on the box?! Arrma at least checks their vehicles and speeds before they release a new one! And give you the speed gear to achieve such speeds! I can make an RC and write capable of 150 mph, and in tiny letters put-With optional gears, new chassis, ESC, motor, body and tx/rx, basically change everything and you can get 150!
Take the body off when you do your speed run for 70 I just wanna see if it can do it. I bet it will. It sounds powerful sledge has a good motor. I like that 2000 KV.
Hello JT.. can you please check whether we can fit that back Shock extender piece on the Maxx V2 as well??? Lack of suspension travel is an issue on this RC as well as Maxx V2!
Understand that flipping it on concrete is a heck of a lot different than flipping it off road. If I flip it on a speed run it's going to scratch and eat the body up. If I flip it off road in this area it'll cause a little dent and maybe rub on the body a little bit but that's about it. Totally different. I didn't want to mess the body up trying to do a speed run and flip it. at least on the first run. Now I may tomorrow when I do super Speed Saturday but we'll see
No this is a perfect spot. I run a lot of my cars out here! besides the car needs to be put through the test to see if it holds up. Look at some of my other videos you see I did the same thing....

Not sure, looks pretty similar in size and performance to my Arrma Senton on 4s. But, it may handle different. Hopefully I see one in action at my local track. It does sound weird... like a bad gear mesh or something?

Same bouncy impossible to get plush maxx shocks I see. That not how a desert truck should be set up. They definitely should have used a diffrent suspension.
So Traxxas is asking $700 for this cool SC truck but there is NO fan on the motor WTH Traxxas Really you would think for $700 it would come with a motor Fan plus it comes with all the telemetry sensors but no Bluetooth module WTH Traxxas ????????
after 700 $ all you need to do is to pay tons for traxxas batteries that actually fit or pay more for straps battery tray and start change the shi* electronic it comes with.. i dont know man, the value isn't good with this one
